if i understand you correct u want to defrag your computer, than shutdown (you need programm for that)

i use Ashampoo magical defrag, it defrags automatically if you don't do anything with your computer, therefore you don't have to defrag because it will defrag alone without your "help"
then you can shut down computer yourself and a it's done

Hey, can any of these schedule defragging of several disks one after another? 'cause I'm not bothered about shutdown and stuff (my computer's hardly ever off) but it's kinda dumb that I can only tell the windows tool to defrag one disk before going to sleep and when I wake up it could perhaps have defragged the other two aswell if only it was scheduled.

(I don't know if windows scheduled activities-thingie can be set up to defrag certain disks at certain times but since I don't know exactly how long my disks actually take to defrag it doesn't really help anyway. If anyone has any suggestions I've missed though I'm all ears.)
