I think same as HQ.
But if u really want do buy a expensive processor u can buy Q6600
Its quad core so it will be a good for future choice.
It has clock 2.4 GHz but it can be easily overclocked to 3.0 and higher
But u must have good cooling on it

I got a 1.8GHz athlon, i really easily overclock it to 2.5 and higher sometimes, but not for long, cooling? i use 3 ventilators and 1 icebracket.. dont know if bracket is the right word..
its ever the same. i post something, and you comment on it unfriendly. this is off topic, so i can post it here. so please, be a little bit more friendly to me, thx
Yes, because i don't like you and your spammy ways. I will not be friendly unless you change that. What exactly are you doing, writing a self biography on the forums? "Hey guys i'm leaving, hey guys i bought a new pc, hey guys i have a new hairdo..."
grats etc +1
bored to search for.. but simp u said u are not having any relations with the ppl from e+ and u just play(hope im not wrong) so why do u give us news about u leaving or etc ? anyawy was wrong from the start, cause if u even post u get in touch with the community . anyway congratz its a big step for a gamer like u
Intel® Core 2 Duo E6750 (will be overclocked)
good cpu, mobo, psu, gfx so.......
could u share with us ur impresive overclocking resoults, did u get some WR? ;>
Maybe add a little more cash for antec p182...I wanted to get 900 also but Im thinking about P182 now...it has dust filters and is better quality made.900 has no dust filters and they say it can be very noisy.
P182 makes less noise with same or little better thermal performance.
OK, i have the PC since a longer time now, here my results:
At first I overclocked the CPU. I tested, how much MHz i could makr with default Vcore. I cam to 3.2 gHz, absolutely stable. Then i set the vcore to 1.375v, and came easyly to 3400 mhz, more i dont want, because of the memory, it runs with 850 mhz @ 5-5-5-18 timings. The graphics card is 20% overclocked, too. 3dmark06 score without overclock was 9000, after 11000.
Because of the very good case and CPU cooler, the cpu is never hotter than 30°.
PS: @HQ: i know, but the smaller C2Ds only have 2GB L2 cache, and that makes them slower. The Q6600 is to expensive for me.
