I remember when i first complained about it the most common response was "OMG LOL IT"S SO NEW WAIT IT'S STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION".
Well, now, some time has passed, and it's still this messy, clunky, slow, 1999 throwback. Does anyone seriously prefer this over the old design? Direct comparison time!
Look at that. Everything fits together, the design is simple but elegant. Navigation was simple and easy, website was fast. It didn't have the fancy features of this one (rich-text post mode, which is mostly useless, shoutbox integrated with the forum, which is mostly useless, blog space, which is nice, and a birthday tab awwwwwww, yeah...), but would it be really that hard to integrate these things into the old design?
Now this site:
Ugh. It's not hideous, but it looks like something that came pre-packaged with the forum space. There are some things that really annoy me, like that you cannot search by posts, that sig doesn't appear in some sub-forums, the new emoticons that look fugly. I still can't fathom why in the world would this change in design be made.

eventhough i prefer the old design, im ok with the new.
whats really bothering me is, that with the new site, you actually can do less specific stuff, sometimes there is stuff i want to do and its 3 times as complex as before.
for example, adding people to your forum, its been just a click to usergroups, select group and add, fine.
nowadays, you need to go to the clandb of the group, edit it and add the new user. this isnt in the forums and practically hasnt to do anything within the forums, beside the fact, old clandb system was way more free 2 use, while new one forces you to a fixed way to handle the clandb. same goes for other minor flaws within the design, its more complicated.
however, the main reason for change was that old e+ forum was stuck at a max width of 800 pixel.
ps: i also like the picture on the top of the old forum, it actually showed the game and saying which mod it was.

an !add button if somebody makes a tournament would be cheezy, so you get into the participants list without 1 guy editing 1 post.
the cups you actually play should be mentioned in profile then and if the event is over, cups you participated in gets listed in your account inclusive rank at end of cup.

this guys took their own time without getting paid anymore since the old site was having all the ad sense google shit. they took their time to program this new website, and you just complain about it, gad guys when you pay for something say whateaver you want if you don't then shut up plz.
I'm web designer and i hate when people start to whine about stuff they don't even pay for.
i like new site, program side, no design side, i said i could help with the design part for the site FOR FREE but nobody listen to me. so meh.

For me new website is far better. Its very good that everything (clandb, shoutbox, forum) is synchronous.Ofcours always can be better, like forum search, "event button" or graphics but it is much more professional.

Ofc, mad, u r allowed to do this and that, and like it or dislike it, but it is a other question if someone cares it. For me there a lot of things which should be improved, bugfixed, but the things were already pointed out in the depending thread.
IN this case i am pro mad, since his post is constructive (except the headline).
Anyway, it has nothing to do with "ass-kissing", what i miss in such cases in a big way is a little bit of gratitude (not especially in this topic-case, i mean it generally).

Lets just say that some new options are cool but me personaly never spend much time on forum like I use to did (even not reading anymore if its not popped up in "most visited-discussed" area - top of the page) because of poor track of new posts/topics that I liked very much in old web design + slower opening (sure its prettier but pretty doesn't mean it's "good")
Overview is bad...just dont have patience for searching for new posts and topics so I rather leave it than read it.
just my 2 cents of why (NOW) I just come here to get server IP's and read 2-3 topics instead of all that are worth reading.
oh yes...and sometimes it takes too much CPU resourcess when I type someone a reply.....I mean, wow...what a turn off.
And it doesnt work well with Google Chrome.

The old site was made by someone, and it took some time and money as well, and you just said it 'sux major ass'. That makes you a hypocrite. I think that, underneath the inane rambling, you actually just said that this site does look ugly (why would you want to help with the design, otherwise?), so that makes you an indecisive moron as well. If you didn't, that makes you the worst web designer of the century, or at least the one with the worst taste.
