Its giving Instant directly data + classified info to a select group of people who wanted to keep this secret And that are not the serveradmins!! But people like u who dont understand after 56 post whats the deal about

Well, nvm, if i would have discovered this, i would have gone to easy, if easy would have had answered evasive, than, and just than I would have gone public. But once more, not in this rough tone, since it is not an exploit.
If I would argue with the same logic as hammer and shox i would have to say that they are "cheater-supporters", but I DON'T. Since i understand the anger, based on the insufficient knowledge about what i am talking about, like them, but I wouldn't vent my anger so extreme and theatric.
And i read no word about it that they did contact easy, just the betas like skull, who is for sure not the right person to ask, also not camel or HQ.

Oh guys, guess I will never find some time to work on the site. Pardon me, I am currently short on time and have no read the whole thread yet.
I am sorry for not paying enough attention to the APM development. It was obviously my responsibility. I should have seen that a debug interface like that would lead into problems.
I will consider to remove APM completely from the public build and only ship it to selected server admins, just like it has been before.
To get this discussion more on track, the answer to the topic title "backdoor?" is no. The data that can be accessed through this debug interface can also be extracted from a demo file, which would be only slightly less accurate. This just saves you the time and displays it in realtime. It does not contain any personal data. It is a pure rework of input data send to the server, how fast did you turn left, how much did you turn left etc. (simplified). It's purpose is to debug and to make the cheat detection more accurate over time.
If you really feel you lost control over your server, you can blah cenz0red by Skull (tm) for now.
Concluding, some words about edy, as it really makes me sad when people do talk without knowledge. edy has never been kicked, neither by me nor by anyone else (as you can see on his title). He is simply inactive, I have not seen him in a while. I guess he got fed up by exactly such an attitude.
PS: I will read the whole thread asap and adjust/add to my reply, if there's need for that.

What you have done so far easy, is a mammoth task of work and I am sure that others have put in endless hours of consultation and testing. This (and i think i speak for 99.9% of this community) is wholly appreciated, you have given endless hours of fun, excitement, and the odd drama to thousands of people. I am positive that a lot more people would give their time and energy to help you develop the overall package if only just to say thank you for this great mod. I write this because your post has an underlying tone of dissapointment, whereas i cant do much to help, I can say that its a beautiful thing you have done.
you cant make ommelettes without breaking a few eggs.

Guys, I have a ultimate solution for your problem:
Lets change the netcode, everybody gets the stream of the person he spectates with as much accuracy as server provides right now, then we gotta do the anticheat command clientside, while server still checks itself for cheaters and autokicks them.
problem solved, no backdoor, 100% same information for devs. who are on servers, gg.

just read his first reply where he called me, hammer and ozy bad boys[Edited]. further he compared us to monkeys who simply can't handle this "secret" information, which was leaked and public, even before i opened this thread. he had no point to react and talk in this way. i don't even know him.
