I am sorry for not paying enough attention to the APM development. It was obviously my responsibility. I should have seen that a debug interface like that would lead into problems.

I will consider to remove APM completely from the public build and only ship it to selected server admins, just like it has been before.

To get this discussion more on track, the answer to the topic title "backdoor?" is no. The data that can be accessed through this debug interface can also be extracted from a demo file, which would be only slightly less accurate. This just saves you the time and displays it in realtime. It does not contain any personal data. It is a pure rework of input data send to the server, how fast did you turn left, how much did you turn left etc. (simplified). It's purpose is to debug and to make the cheat detection more accurate over time.

If you really feel you lost control over your server, you can blah cenz0red by Skull (tm) for now.

Concluding, some words about edy, as it really makes me sad when people do talk without knowledge. edy has never been kicked, neither by me nor by anyone else (as you can see on his title). He is simply inactive, I have not seen him in a while. I guess he got fed up by exactly such an attitude.

What you have done so far easy, is a mammoth task of work and I am sure that others have put in endless hours of consultation and testing. This (and i think i speak for 99.9% of this community) is wholly appreciated, you have given endless hours of fun, excitement, and the odd drama to thousands of people. I am positive that a lot more people would give their time and energy to help you develop the overall package if only just to say thank you for this great mod. I write this because your post has an underlying tone of dissapointment, whereas i cant do much to help, I can say that its a beautiful thing you have done.

so i wonder why a small group off ppl get paranoid about a small program that help us to get rid of those fucking cheaters ( majority of cheaters ) and now they are scared that private information is leaked to public, wonder why youre scared of private information beeing leaked, what kind of information would turn up i wonder...

but ok, i ask you, why did i know this program excisted already and why dont you guy's ?
i'm not in dev team or beta testing team nor have to do anything with those groups but yet i knew the program is there, maybe because i actualy read whats posted in this forum ? darn...
