chat kill messages are subjective to the law of lag/loss/ping in q3 just like any other packets in/out because of the simple fact that the shot " = kill " packet could've been parsed differently (switched) on the server no?
=> you could receive 1 chat kill message before another !?

Do a crazy test, bind this two commands:
"+attack;say I shot;"
And u will see how wonderland is deep comparing the killed\frag messages etc etc
ex: fake hit+message that u have shot then killed by message, who got the hit mine who who who who!
