Commodore?

I would go with new motherboard, RAM, an CPU

dont think you really need to change anything else

dont know about performance increase with SATA Hard Drives dont think u need to splash out on $$$ for that.

An dunno about GFX card but for best performance wise go for them 3

motherboard, RAM, an CPU

This saving process isn't the only problem. When I use Photoshop and Illustrator together the speed is worse.

damnit i overlooked this.
this means cpu is capable but comp just runs out of memory when both are loaded.
the trick is to find the memory that matches your current memory timings.
everest shows the memory timings.
sadly much sellers dont show all the timings of there ddr modules.
offcourse you can always buy new mobo+ram+cpu.
no more is needed because you got a pci-e vid card already.

if u do work under some huge work with lot of layer that a3 format ill take way more than 200mb Happy

whole problem now causing SDR memory, itd denenitly slow for everything, and kills all speed if comes to working on graphics like that

cpu isint so slow

best u can do is upgrade as many said, if u do work much in graphic quadcore c2d would be the best, if u like have less heating procesor then 6750 is the right choice, and iven might be faster in some jobs

im was making some types for riku pc so u can hit me directly for listed stuff we chosen

Hi,

Silence[EN] gave already some advice but I ask still here about this. I saw an ad in some magazine about Commodore computers: http://www.commodoregaming.com/pcshop/home.aspx

I'm thinking of getting new computer because my computer is for some reason too slow for graphics software. For Quake its very good but when I use Photoshop and Illustrator together it's just keeps me waiting all the time. Half of the time goes for waiting for something to happen. And I have to use those software all the time right now.

I have to say I don't know much about computers. So does anyone know could those Commodore computers be good for using big graphics software? Right now I have amd athlon 3000+ and its not good enough.

Thanks for help.

It was a common problem in CS2 - running illustrator and photoshop at the same time usually couses such a problem. Seems like despite the fact those 2 progs are from the same suite - they dont go well along. Indesign meanwhile works very well with both.

there is no difference - even when illustrator takes a little space - (well it in general takes a lil space since it for vectors so till u place bitmap there is almost no mem cpu usage) its still makes shop goes wicked

Thanks for help guys. Sorry I haven't been able to reply since I've had HUGE problems with my computer. I decided to install Windows again because I've always felt this system has something extra in it which I dont need. So I decided to erase everything and start from scratch. It thought it would be easy but it took TWO DAYS to do it. Evil

I'm really considering now for buying something new since this re-install didn't make anything better. Actually I feel this new "clean" computer is even worse.

I think I'm getting the motherboard, cpu and memory as some of you said. I've studied some websites about computers and I feel like I know something about computers now lol! Laughing
