CRT or TFT for e+?

I am already had to saying that the LCD is a good choice Laughing , but now it has just comed to the state to dedicate this panel (Syncmaster 931C) with the "really good choosen one" for anybody who is in some CRT and LCD changing problem as me.
The response-time-delaying is fully undetectable, the eyes are fixed onto the crosshair and not to the wall' curves or sth like...this used to be mentioned if man want to buy an LCD monitor and find as a negativity of them.
As a part of the new r_mode I got new sens which I always tested for and the fitty cg_fov has comed to the best value, too.
Ok, so the raility has just comed and with the new environment of gaming I can get thru more better fights.

Time upon now I have tested quake by compereance with the old monitor and config. I wondered how much I cant focus and play with the CRT. The textures are unsharped, colors are sick and so on...
The picture belows, shows what short of joy can get with full color picture and display Tongue If anyone has any question with the Samsung SyncMaster 931C, do not hesitate to post. Btw, I know this forum is not directly for hardware tech...

Re: CRT or TFT for e+?

After 3 years I got again a CRT monitor.
Today I found a Dell P1130 at a computer bizz, with such a luck Happy
Now it is test time, have to know problems etc but I didn't find any, yet for luck again xD Its manufactured at 2003, made in Mexico and the at the market the shop assistant told me that it came from Germany to his bizz at Budapest, Hungary (and who know how many other locations), so travaled enuf distances. It was cost 2euro Happy LoL and when it was released that cost was about 960euro... So I can say a made a good business xD
Now you know I take this monitor only for Quakeing and its beloved 120Hz screen refresh rate, also Trinitron technology improves the fov visiblity for me and produces less/zero negative acceleration.
And for movies or picture viewing maybe other games like Fifa, NFS etc I will buy a LCD or Plasma TV, 96 or 106cm one which can used like 2nd display... I was looking tests, articles with the new 120Hz TFTs of course and could test one at a friend but wasn't satisfied with that.
So now have to re-group the furnitures in the room and have to move this monster to the corner xD so fucking big xD the Goliathus pad lopping over from the desk, hehehe. Maybe bigger house needed too xDDD
Nah okey, so its testtime at me - sens fov v_sync brightbits etc, but will prepared soon (I played 2-3 rounds and was feelin much more smoothie and could see the bodies in the corridors etc when boomed the map with bfg jumps etc, so it seems truth what Foksie told me @ 4th post "General consensus here is that, CRT still better for Quake"...)

See Ya @ Arenaz Big grin
