Well since e5/e5r is not well promoted these days understandably. Was wondering if there was a slight chance of a movie which shows clips from 2000 through to 2010 of the e5/e5r based cfg. Im sure there is more than enough vids to make the movie. But i do take into account it would probably require somone with alot of time on there hands and also experience with editing. Was wondering if well the community (which is left of the e5 side) could gather demos and then maybe somehow send off to an editor. Its true i have not thought this through, its also a big posibility this will be a 12-13 post topic then die out. But posting is better than not posting Happy .

Suggestions are welcomed and yep keep what your doing guys !

This doesn't work this way, man. You just made a post which took you 10 min @max. But this editor will need to spend like at least 100 hours (maybe much more) on editing (for a good movie) + number of hours to gather demos (ask people for it, getting them to send them) + huge number of hours to picking out the good stuff and good moments. So finding this unemployed editor without a girlfriend will be very hard. If you want to have a better chance of having this thing going you can at least provide your own help on the demo part for example. You can't imagine how many hours and work sit in every decent movie.

Only rendering takes ~2months Day dreaming

totally agree to equi...
hard to find someone being skilled and having a lot of time...

I have an EN-demo collection which is pretty good until we made our movie... after that we stopped collecting demos... so not that many from later on...
as I know a lot of ppl on e5 side did not make demos... many complained about lags or couldnt get a script running...
and if they demoed something, then probably just some public games...

but without someone who is willing to spend so much time on such a project, you dont even need to collect demos^^
maybe just watch the old movies of abarth, me and others as remembrance. if it is not enough then watch some demos and listen music you like as background Big grin

I agree with what has been said, It was a suggestion ofc i didnt put much thought into the whole proccess. Was nice to see peoples opinions on the topic. Yep agreed finding an editor would be hard and tbh i have alot of demos and could if anyone cba can get alot more demos. I see a hell of alot of demos which have movie quality clips in them. Thought it would be a shame to waste them. Especially when some are from pants 1.30. Ill think it through a bit more Happy

this man could be me but now i making my movie...
all this project may do 3-4 people
1- writing short video from demo
2- make installation
3- make effects
and peolpe who give his demo must write time of good frags or something amazing than that will be easy and more faster
