no, it is not a good idea, you should :

1/ run an antispyware program for the trojans.
2/ locate,very slowly and carefully the bad programs and shut them /kill them/remove them.
3/resize your signature to a lower size so the mod of this forum doesnt have to remove you from the board of members. j/k , but almost Winking

Psy,jag skulle iaf börja med att låta AVG flusha systemet. Jag har använt det programmet fan så länge o de har bara funkat hela tiden så jag litar på det. Så min röst blir F2 formattera inte,inte i första läget iaf.

once i was working 4 hours to get a virus out of a computer but format c:/ and reinstall things took only 2 hours.

My opinion.

1. Format C - You delete all trojans for sure, and you loose your files etc
2. Do not format C - Sit few hours on the pc and search and delete them, like casa and bert said, but with unknown results.

really depends on if u have things u wanna save or not... cuz yes sometimes removing shit can take hours, sometimes it only takes a few minutes tho.
