I think that as a server admin, if you want to stay one step ahead, you *have* to install and test what you want to prevent. But you should stay out of public servers and use a separate installation...

Before wrote, plz check pb_cvarlist on 1 of 2sweet server eg. -[]-1v1-[]- killing obsession clan server - 87.106.8.9:27960
Its very big different between ur cfg and cfg on 2sweet.
NWC - 86 cvar lines
2sweet - 550 !!!!!
Its only cvarlist but we have bind list, and md5tools files names also. Pbsv.cfg on 2sweet has 27 KB.

You must talking, talking and talking about each caught cheater, dont ya ?!
Since civilisation begin You have bad guys and good guys. Good guys wanna protect public goods, bad guys wanna abuse public goods. Good guys form POLICE and prisons and whole organisation how protect public goods. BAd guys try to develop new approch to abuse public goods... Neverending story. 
Imagine that in real life every bad guy have own time and discusion on public state television, it is stuppid ? Yes it is stuppid!
What a waist of energy and time. People, play only on PunkBuster servers and pure thats it ! Whole talking is usles, everybody find cheaters, every day here opened one tread per cheater, soon every cheater will have own tread on this forum. That sux !
Punk Buster is network server aplications and purpose of that aplication is automate processing cheaters and dump them ! Simple ! You do it manualy, and process each case You have lawyers and judges an jury... Dark ages, inquisition. And it is not enough some people make videos and make jokes on "bad guys" (Jessica case).
Think about it people ! Be creative an inspired !

I only check working cheats for 1.32 pr, not all of the 550 cvars are from 1.32 hacks.

Its not hard to use a separate installation. Ok, i can somehow realise that it didnt occur to people to use a seperate installation, but now they cant play ignorance anymore.

We actually have 130 cvar checks, and there are cron jobs that run every 5 minutes or so that check players binds for certain key words...
There should be a centralized copy of the cvar list so that other admins can grab it.

this beginns really to annoying me.
a custom cheat is not a cheat u find on sites like mpc or ehc, fco.
cheats which are to be found on such public site, are really fast detected by pb, and u dont need special cvars for them in ur pbsv.cfg, just wasted space.

like i said earlier in this thread i dont want to get involvewd but now i am, ive read and re read this argument many times, from what i can see nite wants to see justice, as he has been banned for less reason, but lady *was?* testing a cheat / hack on a server. this is fari enough, my point is still tho, how comes she done ti while tehre was a player on a server? and also why ban him afterwards? should have been done either on a differet server or without anyone in that server. im thinking since pb wasnt on, she suspected nite of cheating, and forgot to delete the files before. it mde her look bad etc etc. i think it should be dropped but nite unban from the server he was banned in over this. tehre is not alot anybody can do about this now apart from admins. so personally i think it should be dropped people are posting their points etc etc, yet the points they state have allready been mentiond. this is becoming a meaningless topic.
