I was sent on a 3D LCD have a refresh rate of 120Hz, but apparently they do not work the same way as the CRT 120Hz which is something more "virtual. "
So my question was more on the relationship of outputting.
1920:1080 or 1920:1200?
Setting r_customwidth quake with "1920"
Silk r_customheight "1080"
Silk r_customaspect "1
works well or you see black bars on the screen?
btw. abaut settings I Use my samsung on 1920x1200 and 1920x1080 and You need only 2 weeks to lern play , change fov sens and all stuuf I do this cuz have 19"crt next 26" LCD but its works ryly good.

its not worth to buy a gaming monitor if you are not a hardcore professional gamer. You can use any monitor for Quake.. 2 ms and 5 ms is not such a big diference, and you dont need 120hz if you play even with 60hz bad. If you want to be faster so bad.. then look for a good ISP in your country.
