Hello, I need advice on buying a new monitor that is adequate for the game, 24 "-26", better 16 / 9 or 16/10? Better LCD or LED?
I do not know which model addressed, help me please.

I recomend Samsung 2233RZ Happy. Have this one and its awesome Happy

I believe that God left certain drugs growing naturally upon our planet to
help speed up and facilitate our evolution. Okay, not the most popular
idea ever expressed. Either that or you’re real high and agreeing with
me in the only way you can right now. “I forgot the code, is it two
blinks yes, one blink no?” Do you think magic mushrooms growing atop cow
shit was an accident? Where do you think the phrase, ‘that’s good shit’
came from? Why do you think Hindus think cows are holy? Holy shit! Why
do I think McDonalds is the Anti-Christ? That’s Gods little accelerator
pad for our evolution. Let’s think about this, man.

best for q3 is a crt 19 or 21" which does 120 hz sharp on 1024x768 or higher resolutions, so please be a bit more specific.

I know that CRT monitors with high refresh rates are the best for FPS games, but are now a virtually extinct species ...
I was sent on a 3D LCD have a refresh rate of 120Hz, but apparently they do not work the same way as the CRT 120Hz which is something more "virtual. "
So my question was more on the relationship of outputting.
1920:1080 or 1920:1200?
Setting r_customwidth quake with "1920"
Silk r_customheight "1080"
Silk r_customaspect "1
works well or you see black bars on the screen?

Re: Help for buy new monitor

its not worth to buy a gaming monitor if you are not a hardcore professional gamer. You can use any monitor for Quake.. 2 ms and 5 ms is not such a big diference, and you dont need 120hz if you play even with 60hz bad. If you want to be faster so bad.. then look for a good ISP in your country.
