ah lol,

considering dot pitch, I think the best I've seen was Samsung 997mb (0.20mm or so).
I can't think of any other CRT with dot pitch below 0.22mm (I think trinitrons are like 0.25 or 0.24, but I might be wrong.)

there was a 19" widescreen crt made by sony which ran 1440x900 on 120 or more hz.

had your same problem, solved
by using 2 monitors ... so
the video card with 2 outputs.
24 "16/10
to play the latest
games crysis style and
a nice 17"
sony CTR triniton ...
so do not give up anything!
the right compromise does not
exist today..
