*** About Overkill map. Map Overkill is there too, but for now it can't be played on e+, because this map has the same name as old Overkill and can be replaced and some people will not be able to play on server with new one. I wish that new Overkill will be officially presented as official map and will be replaced with old one. So for now don't paste it to baseq3 yet.

Thanks a lot, cheers mzi

Well, guys... I sent you links to Quake Live maps (converted by me) privately, because there are some restrictions with copyrights. You can read about it in previous replies in this thread. Moderators should remove your public links, so be ready to it.

Concerning separated packs: your pack of separately made 60 maps weighs 298,9 Mb, while all my packs with all 105 maps and all necessary files weigh 304 Mb.

Moreover, I made my packs so that one could play on all the maps in any quake3 mode and there are no bugs in the game menu (list of maps) if one wants to play in specially created ql (Quake Live for Quake3) mode. And also one can play with all weapons and power-ups on all the maps in missionpack (Team Arena) mode. And none of modes doesn't interfere any other. I mean that my set is ready-made to be played. One should just download and install it.

Well... If one wants to play one or some few maps one should use your separately made maps but if one wants to have the whole set or just the most of them one should use my packs.

These are maps for those who want and like. I'm not forcing anyone to play on them. Do you? Play. You don't want? Don't play. I just showed that, you can. if someone will decide and remove links, then ok, no problem. I will not be angry. Cheers

yep same as i do, i made a two diff quake 3 arena folders, and placed your map pack with files there, and other one with mzi's map pack, so i for example can play in both without problems Happy

good job both of you :]

p.s. forgot to mention in the cpma pickup they do use a ql maps and have the links everywere :] so they play them without any problems or restrictions Tongue

People here are afraid of the freshness and something new. They are still in the same shit, and don't want to move with times. Always the same. Yes, It can be that what they want it, ok, no problem. I don't force anyone as I said. If you want play that how you play, just cool, but If you will try do something and if you will check it, it can be really fine. Why I don't play usually on Quake Live then.. I can't. Why.. I have lags there, my pc is not for this heh, it's sad, but who cares, ye? exactly. That's why i am trying with these maps, because I really like them and i want to play on it here, on this mod. Many people don't understand. Ok, i don't care about plusN side etc, but if some people agree with play on qlinsta and agree with cups on it, then why some people just yell on this? I don't get it. Everyone can make own cup in every time and play it. Nobody forbid this possibility. And i think this community should be glad because of this that many people are here I mean from NoGhost for example or even Quake Live, which like to play on this config or even maps from - Quake Live. I allow people to that game, but if some people just yell at me because I'm trying do something, then ok, play that what you have Happy No problem. That's all.

btw I made these maps because I wanted to do it and of course not only me. I tried to help and i did it. it was just a pleasure for me to do that. I always wanted to play on these maps on Quake 3 Arena. Now is possible and i am proud of myself heh

Done. 105 maps from Quake Live have been remade to Quake 3 Arena and are ready to play. Of course for interested in this, I don't force anyone to play on them. I just wanted to announce that i finished and all maps from QL are done. And yes, I know, maybe I'm sick but I wanted to do this long time ago, so it is.. I would like to thank V1979 for converted these maps, it would be very hard to do this without your help, so thanks man Winking

Link to download 105 maps (around 540 mb): http://speedy.sh/nK3zr/105-Quake-Live-Maps-2012.zip

PS Maps concretepalace, houseofdecay and diesirae are refreshed (little correction). To admins if they have those maps on the server, upload please. Thanks and cheers

Well... As we have discussed earlier, my method of packing is better - it gives only 304 Mb (319 784 964 bytes) for all my files instead of your 540 Mb.

Quake Live maps (edited - find updated links further - on 28/07/2012):
*** (EDIT) - common files (textures, scripts, sounds, models etc) for Quake Live maps under baseq3

*** (EDIT)
- files for Quake Live maps under Team Arena, if you want to play with the whole set of weapons and power-ups (this mode should be installed in \missionpack folder)

You can find maps description here http://quakelive.wikispaces.com/Level+Guide

*** (EDIT)

Hmm, I don't know If I understood something wrong, but I made all maps and these maps are ready to play, additionally each map in this pack is in separate, so it's not so hard to figure out that pack which size is around 540 mb is bigger than your. Is that true? You give us maps which aren't ready, which need to compile first to play on them then. So maybe that's why your pack size is around 300 mb. But you know, I can be wrong. Anyway thanks for these files, ofc big thanks to you for it.. Winking

BTW I didn't know that some sites allow that file compression.. Dual-core processors don't have that power >.> interesting.. ofc i hope it's joke :DDD
