GL with your plans. However, if you are serious, you ought to also (or instead) consider bundling E+ with either IoQuake3 or OpenArena. Q3 will be 10 years old later this year (December), and although it remains a great platform for Pro players it will not attract new people.

IMO you should concentrate on a platform that is free (which will attract more ppl) and offers improvements over Q3 (like download redirects, better netcode, etc.) while retaining all the essential Q3 qualities.

But, again, either way GL.

yes, it does feel like too little, too late... after the years of people clamouring to help, and the 'team' shunning them... i do feel like the community was alienated.

if you had done this last year, it may have been a different story. I may be here physically, but in every other way, i left the mod a long time ago. (I have a feeling, it's the same story with lots of other people)
