New cfg?

highly doubt the cfg would find a sufficient interest within the community.
Secret, 2 be honest: i think monkey's cfg with Seth's ideas and other's 2 + server admins's help - will get very quick insane popularity.
What i already see: is balance. No bfg+nade jumpin whenever u want, no crazy spamming how long u want and btw imo Anticamp will be useless for such cfg, wich is even better!

I consider weapon movement one of the three most prominently fun features of E+ (the other two being extremely fast pace of the gameplay and simplicity), so removing that from the equation is severely damaging to the concept itself, that's why i think gl as the starting weapon would be the best choice.
Also consider, that would mean weapon movement would actually matter even more than in regular e5 games, you will have to move better than your opponent to grab the weapon you want before him, whereas ordinary e5 only promotes weapon movement as means of outmanouvering people( (which matters little due to spam) except in ctf, where it's crucial to winning).
Last argument i have, without weapon movement, people would need to develop ground movement, and i don't think learning an entirely new skill from scratch will shout 'FUN!' for most people (excluding those who already know how to strafejump).
For sure i would not play it xD

You start with gl you're pretty much set, fast movement to bfg and as attacker you're set.
Not that i'd play it though, you remove my weapons i'm too lazy to find them.

what a hax .. how many cfg we have in excessive side? e5 old, e5 new, e6, e6 v.2, e5r. omg and will be create one more - eX. imo need to have in excessive side 2 cfg: first for people who will play ctf and tdm/tag matches without railgun, with middle switchtime (middle of e5 and e6 cfg) and second cfg like e5r (or this will stay) with railgun weapon.
ofc this idea is good, but let's consider it`s more close. It will be based on e5? when player will respawn, what weapon at him will be? mg? then tdm game will be reduced to stupid spamfest with mg, there will be a game mg only who will not think of others weapons. if you want to make such cfg need then in my opinion to use all weapon including railgun, all damage to reduce, but not on so much that game has turned in osp/cpma..

So as you see.. make your own conclusions.
What is im tryina say..is that we create 1 uniQ & universaL cfg holding on a few easy rules. For example:
- consult with skilled cfg makers, and not amateurs
- ask for skilled players's opinion, and not the noob ones
- use the cfgs at funwars,duels..different gametypes, to test them, and after a period - make a poll with question: Wich cfg best ? a) or
ps: Poll must involve f.e: atleast 5 different gamestyled players&cfgmakers. For others poll closed.

yea tactics in baseq3 rox...go to rocket launcher room>>>pick up RL>> wait there (camp) for other players who will come there for weapon with useless mg against your rl

Just an idea thx for all the constructive ideas . Well mg could still be the main weapon but take damage per bullet down from 30 to 15? Or even ye using the gl would be fun . Lol even better you get to choice what weapon you would like to start off with
