Believe me it does detect it only if you connect via the gamehook which takes place of the quake3 exe else it won't notice it , I've run tests on LAN server in the past and it won't detect it unless you use it.
I can say for sure that any cheater will claim they didn't cheat and make whatever excuse they can to deny it, but once a cheater .... you know how it goes.
warez is correct, the cheat runs to be detected, or as van said it can be down to code in your cfg

Is it not ridiculous, that people defend a cheater although after a PB-prove?

somebody cheating?

bla"? PB is just tellling that, what cheater have in there q3.

was proved that they cheatet?
