yep i still remember when fala told me that my crosshair jumps over pixels...but i told him is not posible cos i dont feel anything...since then we calculated and maked changes in my cfg and windows settings, now i clearly see the difference between when my crosshair jumps over pixels and when not : >

Yes they are now exact (must be since your formula is correct), and I thought they were exact for my formula (and they still look exact because their small extra width is not drawn by graphics card: almost pixel looks like a pixel)

PS: I usually play with

cg_fov 90
960x720 (in a window)
sensitivity 9
m_yaw 0.022

so my VA is 1.66 (something like 5px per 3 VA), felt well Happy

it's not made up .. its about what quake 3 uses to calculate the view angles before "showing" the projection image on your screen and how you can improve these to get less errors and better accuracy Tongue
