I have 15 years old TV. Its so old that i dont know which brand it is cuz the brand stamp faded away with time,but guess what? Its still working fine, and it had only one service by now Big grin Epsi is definitely right about electroncs they used to made before and this new craps. Ye,also my Dell Trinitron 21' CRT monitor is still working perfect and the colours it has are magnificent for gaming and watching movies Happy

Plasmas are not outdated. They have better contrast and much better colours than LCDs (even with LED backlight). Their drawback is the slightly higher power-consumption and the short life-span but who the hell buys a TV for the next 10 years?

hi zoom. plasma or lcd? here my advice: the constructor is really important. don't buy a samsung or toshiba tv. see on Sony, Panasonic or LG.

i actually do wonder what arguments would give all those people who have voted for LCD instead of plasma because if somebody bothered to read about those or was comparing them in shop there is absolutely nothing whats is better in LCD
