disagree to this 1, pummel is pretty usefull to pummel people falling down.
on another note, pummel is supposed to be a fun weapon, just needed if u run out of ammo, there is no need to make it a serius weapon.

ronin, have you made an ups-test with reference-shots and u had the same result and landed in the same spot with the same shot, with the bfg out of ur config compared to the bfg out of a official config?
I am 100 % sure, that the bfg shot of ur config brings you to not exactly the same spot as the bfg out of an official config based on a reference shot. (means, shoting on exectly the same place with both config with same distance).

check your pm.
skull, my suggestion was not a replace your usual weapon choice at certain distance, it was to make it more viable when down to no ammo (which would be rare anyway).
plus maybe 10% increase in speed would make it more fun... wouldnt it?

i once played a free online game, all players turned on torrent, tooked out knife and lagged through all shoots.
now imagine what happens if u turn the speed up by 10%...

I just got to know that the TA-gametypes are also available in E+!
Why are there no servers with
"Retrieve the Flag" or "Protect the Leader"!?--
There should be more DIFFERENT servers ...means
>different rotations (includin different maps)
>different Confs (just need to change little but effective options)
>different GAMETYPES!

freeze is really popular because its something new, i think new type like last man standing or 3 teams in tdm/freeze (ali proposed that once i think) or protect the leader as mr.epilepticcolorattack said would be great
