ok, first I want to clear that I'm not asking for anything nor complaining about anything, this place is yours and you're free to do whatever you want with it thus I'm not here to tell anyone what they have to do with their place, I just want to express my disatisfaction because each time I'm going to reply someone who asked anything about HiszY I found me unable to because the thread got either locked, moved to the trash can, deleted, flooded with offtopic/spam or all of the previous and since it looked that some people wanted to hear a response from me I decided to open the thread myself to avoid this kind of problems (if not, it's ok, I just refer me to the begging of this paragraph).

ok, and second, since I heard some accusations that the HiszY Servers run hacked versions of excessiveplus/edawn then there's something that I want to left absolutely clear about this topic, in no case I touched a single bit of any of the mod files distributed at this or the edawn site. (<- in case you didn't notice, period)

ok, and about all the rest, well there's lot of things so as I think that you can understand is not possible to put on a paper every single situation you may encounter but to put it simple you should know that the policy at HiszY goes more or less like this:

first, the typical admin chain goes like this:

1) some warnings
2) some light actions (mute/kick)
3) short term ban (days term ban, typicaly somewhere between 2 and 5 days)
4) middle term ban (weeks term ban, typicaly 10 days ban)
5) long term ban (months term ban, typicaly just forever ban)

and you should know about them that they are cumulative, this is, once you got on a level the next action is always of the next level, so for example if you insult a couple of players and you get a couple of days ban and after that you came again and cause the same or anyother kind of problems then you won't get banned again just a couple of days you will jump into a weeks term ban and so on, the level never downgrades it would have to pass lot of time for a level to downgrade but I insists that it's something that happens very rarely so it's always better to never have to be banned at first.

it's also important to note that the first two levels were typicaly took in real time at the servers by the HiszY Servers Staff but since actually the HiszY Servers Staff is disabled the typical admin actions start at level third, this is, short term ban.

in addition to the typical levels there's also two more special typicaly fixed (neither downgradeable nor upgradeable) levels reserved only for special situations:

6) tolerance zero ban
7) access blocked

about the subject of the bans basically is all about common sense, the people at the HiszY Servers is not there to waste their time, is there to have fun playing Quake III Arena online against other persons all over the world in a normal friendly gaming ambient, and thus of course the HiszY Servers theirself will never serve as a platform for places that nothing has to do with HiszY, so on that line the most typical bans subjects go like this (however I insist that like I first remarked the most important subject is common sense, although after three years nearly any case is standarized each case is still nearly treat individualy):

-) any kind of game abuse (chat/spec/teamshoting|switching/camp/gauntlet ... abuse) [Level I]
-) any kind of disrespect towards anyone or anything [Level II]
-) any kind of game spam (chat/voice/vote ... spam) [Level III]
-) any kind of non HiszY Services advertisement (ex. ^7Visit ^1www.excessiveplus.net ^7and submit your suggestions!) [Level III]
-) any kind of non HiszY Services advertisement spam [Level IV]
-) any kind of non normal situation non directly subject of ban but done repetitively over the time and on purpose to (or not to but that it does) harm a normal friendly gaming ambient (in few words, attempt to exploit these general guidelines) [Level IV]
-) any kind of major incident (ex. various of the previous points together) [Level V]
-) any kind of high suspecting cheating incident [Level V]
-) any kind of confirmed cheating incident [Level VI]
-) any kind of attempt to coolaborate with people who attemped to clone the services provided in a way that it's (or may turn) dishonest [Level VI]
-) any kind of attempt to clone the services provided in a way that it's (or may turn) dishonest [Level VII]
-) any kind of attempt to disturb the normal functioning of the Servers [Level VII]

finally it's also important to note that while at HiszY there's no privileged users, the rules apply absolutely to everybody (me included) and if someone has to be banned, he/she will, no matter what, HiszY is always more benevolent with those players that are frequent, like I said it's all about common sense, so for example if a frequent player at some point vote twice for a map most likely nothing will happen because you know that he/she knows what he/she is doing and that he/she will accept the result and he/she will stop there (if not then most likely rules will apply), however if for example a new player join and as soon as he/she joins vote dm17 most likely will get a direct kick instead, then if you're a new player at the HiszY Servers is important to start calmly, be patience and take your time to get into the thing and don't pretend to get the everybody's attention at first, once again like I said, it's all about common sense, it's just like on real life, if you enter in a new pub where you don't know anyone and you start to freak out all over the place and mess with everybody it's just a matter of time that you get in trouble.

ok, so as you can see there's no ridiculous things like +10% accuracy or 5+ kill streak forever ban or stuff like that, then to the people claiming such kind of things I would just ask them to provide some kind of prove because I (and even more people around here) can tell that such things does not happen, what it may be possible is that randomly suddenly it's detected a extraordinaire rare guy with a extraordinaire performance and that it gets a Level VI ban because like I said it's all about common sense, experience tells that generaly extraordinaire rare things extraordinarily good to be true are just that, false, so if it was the case for some of the people around here I want to publicaly apologize for these errors but also add two things, first what did you was doing with such extraordinaire rare things, I don't know, do you have something to hide because I don't know where you live but where I do people does not go masked, only people who goes masked or that acts extrange are the ones who has something to hide, and second anyways if it was the case it was as simple as contact me and attempt to clear the situation because I think that it's to understand that join a foreign forum and start hating won't help any however that's something that as far I know none of those people did so I don't even get the point.

well, then it's always preferable to me that you write me directly at or that you use our site hiszy-servers.tk but well if anyother one more around here wants to clear something more or to comment any other thing related to HiszY feel free to post it here, don't expect a answer in minutes or just in hours (specially lastly I'm mad busy) but I compromise to review this thread regulary and answer everything I can, there's just two rules:

-) fit to USER ONLY things, unfortunately all the information relative to the servers is private (you can read a bit more here), then please don't ask me how to do this or how to do that other thing because I will not respond (again, I've just did it)
-) fit only to HiszY here, no offtopic/spam please
