Re: Show your PC here.

i have several dell latitudes here for work, ive taken apart hundreds of these (3330, 3340, 3480, precision m3800 and more), just migrated from a latitude E7270 - i5-6300u @2.4ghz 8gb ddr4, 120gb m.2 ssd
still a decent laptop, nice keyboard, bit heavy nowdays though

to an latitude 7390 - i5-8250u @ 1.8ghz, 16gb ddr4, 256gb m.2 ssd
less weight but keyboard sucks and it overheats doing basic stuff (such as an av scan) unless you disable intel turbo boost. dell say thats the fix for their bad cooling design Confused

I am huge fan of DELL, this is very disappointing Sad for such mistake, some time ago i read in some forum about some laptop overheating, and the guy, resolved problem by lowering Maximum processor state to 99% in Power management, but it may be a different case

HP printers in past was Canon. Year ago we sell some new model color laser printer. It was with 1 y warranty Surprise , few months later he broke. And the cause was some defective motor, that even didn't have a spare. Nothing , no reserve parts... just nothing... almost 400 eur go in basket.
But to be honest, they have good servers, and workstations, old ones, i have never repaired new, so i don't have look at new things.
Lenovo have good stuff, budget small servers with even 2 power supplies.
For 1 client i searched for DELL - excelent RAID controller, but they didn't have cheap server with 2 PSU. So , now i dream nightmares, when the PSU of this DELL server fails, how will suck dicks.

This is because in Bulgaria we use computers 'forever'. Other countries change computers 3-5 years, here 30-50 Laughing
