I would like to suggest to implement mute and ignore to be persistent. So basically the muted id should still be muted after disconnect/reconnect.

Using /mute all and/or /xp_noVoiceChat "1" and/or /xp_drawNotify "14" is not an option since it would also mute those players that aren't constantly spamming during games.

This commands I know it: /mute all or /mute id.

You might be able to do this by alias/ mute command. Add it to your autoexec and the player is always muted. Bind the script to a button to turn on and off. I dont really know but the idea sounds possible. I never mute anybody but I always play for fun. However I can understand that if your in a serious game you dont want a lot of spam.

Ain't so easy. Because anytime a client disconnects the server doesn't have a history to remember who was muted. So that must be implemented as well. And, its not that easy.

/mute all & /mute id are related to the respective client-to-server connection.

on another server /map the client id might change so you cant reuse the same command for the same person.

/mute all always work.

I was thinking that you could mute by player name and not just by id. I guess thats what I get for thinking Happy

Yes, basically this is what I was thinking of. But since it wouldn't be too easy to add custom names I would suggest to either extend the existing mute/ignore command (using the client id) or add another mute command.

u would need to mute guid not id, since id changes all the time, same goew for adsl connection

since many ppl use the same guid it is still kind of pointles.

what other veryfication method if not guid and not ip?

I am addicted to life.

Yes, I'm aware of this problem. It could be a combination of name+GUID+country, something like that. I don't think that it's pointless, since people get banned on servers using the same logic.

To your other point: Yes users should be able to delete their posts.
