windows 7 is smoother than vista?
i've wanted to go back to XP because of vista being unsmooth and sometimes jolty
but i can't since my drivers aren't recognised lol1gb minimum of RAM??
i only have 1.7, will i suffer with windows 7 more than vista?
What specific hardware do you have that does not have xp drivers?
And yes, most likely 7 > vista.
You can always test the RC of 7, which works normal till march 2010.
mow is right, i only had vista for a few weeks.
What I noticed, is that Vista was terrible in the first week or so. Apparently it needs to synchronise everything, and there were a lot of background processes running. Even after 1 week, It just wasn't "Solid" for me personally. I know W7 does the same thing, but its become stable after 1-2 days even with 50+ processes running. (perhaps it was the copy of Vista I had) who knows. For now, I would give W7 a thumbs up once you get used to the way it functions.
well, ethernet drivers and my ipod isn't recognised and wouldnt install last time
even with my ethernet drivers in, the network doesn't work, i can't figure out what i do wrong there
(thats my xp problems)
if the pic helps, that's what i'll be running 7 on
with vista it runs fine but could be better
