Yes it felt really different from what the mod is now. Well the mod is better now as in new versions, more clans and so on.
But the flames between mulle and superbo was always fun(!?) to watch, Corp was also a part of that humour 
At the begin (about 2 years ago) when i started playing this mod i played only ctf for a couple of months. Still i think ctf is the, most how should i explain, most adrinalin rushed gametype. Its lot about teamwork and fast moving.
The thing is that its always same 4 boring maps. Well now im going a little bit outside this thread.

in that case i apologize u hard, i though u didnt play ctf....but i think we met each other, even with hq, but i had another nick, imo u all had another nicks:) if not i have only short memory;)

i still say if your playing ctf e5 style on an american server, get the nwc guys or some e5 guys, we need guys specialist to that config.
