Rita Hayworth And The Shawshank Redemption was probably Stephen King's finest moment in the short novel/novella genre other than The Body (which you may know as the Rob Reiner film Stand By Me). It is an excellent read and the film is probably the best film adaptation of any of his stories, bar none.

One of my favorites for sure also.

If I had to choose a favorite movie at this particular moment, however, I'd say...

The Pianist. <3 Janusz Olejniczak, Wladyslaw Szpilman, and most of all Frederic Chopin. Big grin
