I try-ed placing demos excessiveplus/demos/ now they are at baseq3/demos/ and that makes no differences. I noticed there is one demo (i think it is included in q3 as default example...) that runs normally, Four.dm_68. Yes i tried re-downloading some demos; anyway i recorded by my self some demos - froggy tested those all works fine - but not for me !!. I'm confused...

But one thing, i am still interested is there some soft for Linux for viewing *dm_68 ? With some abilities like rewind (or make go faster).

I do know that E+ demos must go into excessiveplus/demos and won't work from baseq3 (at least they dont on my setup). The Four.dm_68 wont work if you have E+ loaded, because it is a Baseq3 demo.

So put demos in excessiveplus/demos - launch Q3, go to Mods - load E+ mod, then try loading demo. Otherwise, cant help you - sorry.

Dont know about Fast forward and stuff... but \timedemo 1 will make it go a lot faster Big grin *EDIT* Actually check the post below by SHUDDER - sounds like it will do what you need. Winking

Are you playing the demos from the demo list, or did you /demo demo_1.dm_68 from the console ?

1. Yes i was tryed only from menus list (e mod).
2. OK. Honestly i didn't tryed type in console, so... Yes it worked "\demo demo_1" Still its not comfortable as u need always type manually (but somehow it works).
