OH DAMN...right on parasight!!
I have been looking for the Tricking iT films for quite a while and completely forgot about them. I could never remember the name. 
Tricking iT is definetly a good film to watch about about trick jumping. Now that I think about it, my first link really wasn't a good example. :oops:

Thats the splendor of the mod, it looks hard untill you practice, practice and more practice. The skills you learn will be valuable in future gaming, plus you get bragging rights.

I forgot to mention, you will need the latest version of Xvid to view Tricking iT. Not only that but if you use Mircosuck's Media Player 9 or newer you will need a Stream Switcher. Tricking iT contains 5 audio tracks!!
Oh yea, bet you didn't think that a film encoded with Xvid or Divx could be made with multiple audio tracks similar to a DVD, eh?

If I remember correctly, the Tricking iT 2 archive contains all the links to codecs and whatnot necessary for viewing it. I've listened to all 5 audio tracks but I still prefer the first one. One nice thing about the Tricking iT 2 archive is that it includes a lot of the demos used for making the movie (07-tricking_iT2_demos.zip) so you can see them all within Quake. It's a pretty complete package, you can tell they put a lot of sweat and blood into it.

i do plasma climbing, strafe jumpin, overbounces...
but strafe jumpin is really hard, dont forget about pmove_f1x ;]

@gibs: well i tried to get into the mod a lot but the defrag community didn't seem SOOO welcoming to me
so i had to find out everything by myself 
i love plasmaclimbing and i think i'm good at it 
i can do some really good plasma climbs and freestyle moves in all the standard quake maps 
like one of my favorites is in dm6 where the four towers are being at the corner where you usually respawn under the armor i let one grenade on the floor, one on the ledge above me, the first one makes me jump to the second one the second one pushes me up and then i plasma the wall all the way to the rail 
loooooove these kind of things 
hope we can meet up on msn someday so u can teach me some more things... i can strafejump but not circlejump and i can rocket jump or use my projectile rocket to jump from a distance same thing with nades but up to there. anyways to make a long story shot lets just meet
