meny ppl in interned thinks that they are "the one" and they words are more important that enyones here, its is about freedom to, lots of them do think that internet is a magic place where u can make all u wish and u will not have eny consequences for it
its reason why this voting pool fail now, couse everybody do think they are the smartest and they like to kep they "freedom" to make judgment, idea of oldest council it to help them make fair judgment, this idea have good and bad sides but it can solvet some hard cases
to make work oldest council, they be need full suport from servers owners, couse meny ppl can disagre with judgment, as it is hapening now on the board

Because it's just a game. People who start taking it too seriously will start ruining it. It's a typical trait of human behavior, just look around and you'll see it. I'm not going to come up with a scientific analysis to prove my thesis, I feel the world around us provides more than enough evidence. It's the same reason you don't bring money into a community (I've seen online communities crumble under it), or why you don't talk about religion at dinner.

There is much sense here.
Though the problem is, people DO take this game seriously, it becomes more than 'just a game' it is social interaction with real people, and those people feel pride fear joy anger, etc etc .. Those emotions don’t turn of when the pc closes, they simmer till the next time some lamer comes along.
If your statement was true para, than when aver cheater commented everyone would be like.....
‘ hi cheater how are you ? its cool how you didn’t bother to learn how to play well by making your hands sore and eyes bleed by looking at the screen, and take week upon week month upon month an indeed year upon year to try and improve the way you play. Instead use a program to do that for you, how cool is that !!...hehe aren’t cheaters funny people I’m glad I have no emotional response to them as this is only a game’
The problem is not whether a council should exist, the problem is there is a need for something to try to combat the cheaters, who ARE ruining the game.
There is nothing wrong with people trying to find ways to rid us of cheaters
A council was an idea, maybe it’s the best way, ideas anyone ?

Game
Because it is just a game, and it should be fun. Which it is certainly for me. I don't like sh@theads spoiling my fun, by cheating. It takes away from my selfish ability to enjoy what it is I am doing. I would not have sex unless I could climax, it would be a waste. Well cheaters ruin my ability to climax. That being said, if we can find a way to rid the servers of such pen*s-blockers that would be great. I am all for it.

To be honest - the cheaters are not ruining the game for me . . . they come along and get banned - i think the cheaters are ruining the forums and all because there are some people who seem hung up on cheats continuly posting about cheats and detection - seems some are on a crusade to rid the game of cheats - good luck, cause it will never happen.
deal with things as they come along - try to look at the enjoyment of the game rather than the irratations - IS THE GLASS HALF FULL OR HALF EMPTY?

my glass is full ive never had half a glass in my life 
problem is it has floating pieces of shit called cheaters in it..and it sort of ruins the taste
and its not the lame ass noobs who come along with bad language and aimbots that is the concern. its the scum just under the surface that now and again get caught, the regular players who cheat that’s the true destructive problem
though as you dont care about such stuff goddam i presume you wount see this
