cant say 100% it is by pure/files, all ppl got kicked cuz unpure clients on dm6 but it seems other mappack or maps in baseq3 directory. If i good remember it should be first game on server. If it helps you u have time and date of problem.

after 2-3 ppl who was on server (dunno how they connected) changed map to dm17 and we could join and then we voted for dm6 and worked normally.

hmmm... dont u think that its too offensive?
i mean, its like... we play for 100000 dollars or so what... but we play all for fun and this rules are important, sure, but its hard if you get banned if you dont think of a rule or .. its a gsomethinkame and we play for fun
sure the rules are improtant to make it run smooth, but i think everyone should be able to close one eye sometimes^^

this rules are needed so taht we actualy have fun.
if you think its fun waiting for people, and so on, then go play public.
this is competitive fighting (even if its for no cash) and rules must be strict.

Without a minimum of rules this will turn into chaos. Today we had to waste ~10 mins explaining to someone ON SERVER how this whole thing actually works. Would you have liked waiting 10 mins explaining stuff instead of playing? I doubt it. And really this ain't like a math test, you just have to read 1st post and then come play. If you can't even do that then u show a lack of respect towards all those who actually spent their time reading the rules and all.
And i dont think we have been harsh at all so far, as i said the first 2 days we closed our eyes on ANY mistake, but now we're going into our 3rd day, topic has rules and game procedure so ppl don't have an excuse anymore. We all want our games to go as smoothly as possible, don't we?

Something for the mirc users:
If you are busy or want to do something else while you wait for the spots to be filled or simply don't want to bother reading what's happening on irc, here is the way to keep track of the "games". (maybe something is unnecessary but it works fine for me)
When the words
"Captains are" (which means the game you signed up has begun)
or
"!reset" (which means that the gathering was reset by an admin and you must re!add)
are posted, the (minimized) mIRC will start flashing with the words you told it to flash (in the screenshot the words are "captains are")
ps1: I didn't add the "!set slots" since it might be fixed tommorow
ps2: All this might be obvious for most but some maybe find it helpful :]
ps3: Go mIRC options -> IRC -> Options. On the selection "Flash on message" Uncheck all so you are not bothered with mIRC flashing on all messages.
Try it :]

k since we're on the topic of irc, all of u mite find this very handy.
its basically a script for mirc, that does a lot of stuff. for example u can decide what u want to be warned about in balloon boxes, like u can set it so that it gives u a balloon box in the system tray whenever u get a pm from pugbot. u can also set sounds and other stuff. and more importantly, u can set it so that u can join the q3 server directly by clicking on the ip in irc.
altho i dont use this (cos i use xchat not mirc), its very very useful if u do use mirc.

New game procedure added!!
The WINNING CAPTAIN of the gauntlet duel will callvote a gametype AFTER all players have been picked. You can vote YES or NO. In case gametype voting fails, the WINNING CAPTAIN will callvote a different one.
New rule added!!
12. Only captains are allowed to do the specific CALLVOTES. Do not callvote if you are not a captain! (minor offence)

Added rule #12 which is a VERY IMPORTANT rule. So please if you respect that rule you make these games go as smoothly as possible, if not we have to waste 10 mins each time somebody who HAS NOT read the rules joins a pickup game. We no longer tolerate that, we kinda closed one eye until today when that has happened but frankly you have no excuse as ALL you need to know is written on the 1st page. Thank you for your understanding.
12. Joining a pickup game without having read THE RULES and GAME PROCEDURE, will result in a 1 hour ban!!
Added first offenders as well, Kicek and Equilibrium (1 minor offence each).
