Well i tryed to conect to quakenet.org but my mirc says :

dont know why, maybe im using bad port? or mising somthing on the irc server config?

if ur using mirc u can just choose an appropriate server in the options and connect. or u could put in /server irc.quakenet.org

if ur using mcaffee antivirus, it automatically blocks any irc client for some reason, i know this problem from 2 other quakers (shell&gladi)

7. AFTER all players are picked the WINNING captain will callvote a gametype. In case this vote fails, he will callvote another one.
8. AFTER the gametype has been voted, the losing captain callvotes a map.
Last night freeze was callvoted. All went to spec upon the change and when the losing captain joined he callvoted map while only 3 out of 10 were in game so the rest didn't vote. Add a little spot in the rules about that (losing captain must callvote again or it's minor offense or something)
12. Only captains are allowed to do the specific CALLVOTES. Do not callvote if you are not a captain! (minor offence)
I've callvoted ff 1 at least 3 times so far (without being captain). Maybe allow that specific callvote for everyone? It doesn't really hurt after all.

Great idea, ive tried it, and it tastes good. I like the idea when u have to wait 2 join, b4 all players are ready and everything is voted b4 battle. Teams are always even and are almost always the same. Its like public, but more organized.

after all players are picked = means there in the teams.
anyways captains who vote before all people are in are pretty lame, they shall go away shame thereself.edit:

Warner it seems there is a problem for most Spanish quakenet users. Some huge ass spanish ISP got some restrictions because there was too much abuse done by one of their clients. You can read more about it here (it's in spanish): http://www.media-vida.net/vertema.php?fid=17&tid=253488
Now im not 100% sure u got the same problem but it's worth checking.

Soon we will publish the required server settings fro each gametype. (ie FF 0 in TDM won't be allowed, need to decide on a warmup setting for the CA games between the rounds etc)
