hello. i would very much like to see a "q2dm1" alike map on e+for those who played quake from back 1998. will now what im saying. The edge rocked.here are some samples of map. it has..2 big rooms.all map connected itself for strafejumping.good Bfg jumps.water tunnel.columns on the underground partan elevator.etc.etc.this map would be good for itemstyle 3

I played right 2 min ago converted version for q3. IMO it has very tight corridors, rooms, stairs. E+ map needs a bit more freedom for bfg jumps and flying. If u have some good ideas u can edit Mario's picture - there are many ''empty'' rooms which can be rebuilded.
Are you using the sky I used in my Dark Zone remake? How did you get lighting on the surface, I have trouble with this shader.
funny thing is that i even havent touched or edited yr shader. If u see lightning it may caused by other things, because i only added 1 string into the shaderlist and its worked fine for me.

It s nice u have so many ideas, but i dont know how many maps ''Mapper's'' team can handle at same time.
So better stick to 1 map. U still can edit yr picture, its np if mapper have to remake it 100 times

Are you kidding me? There are several remakes of Edge for Q3, best one included in the OSP map pack. Check it out, it's awesome.

@ sander: Yes i know i dont want that the map construcur do all my examples. For now i will check the first map u did and tell u all informations about the texture and so on, this will be waste some time. We go step per step

dm6 (every time u make new shader u should add it to shaderlist.txt)
Asphyx, i think it would be better if you would put arrows to annotate height changes and/or use color coded backgrounds to mark at what height is a specific area. IMO it would be easier to get the mental picture of how the map is supposed to look and play that way.
