hello all!

ok emm... i reinstalled windows xp professional and after installing service pack 2.19 i couldnt switch my mouserate! the bug were :

ERROR: Could not find a valid sequence!
Please use Windows' original "usbport.sys"!

i know what that mean but why it works befor ?

i hope someone can help me Big grin

and if you could i am grateful about your support

its files which is modified during change usb rate speed. I suppose used prog for change usb rate speed.

hmm i just try change my mouserate and i have the same:/ Hmm...
Maybe someone know how fix it and change my rate from 125 to w250 or 500Hz??

Did u use the mouserate utility in safe mode? Thats the wy it should be done,there is another way to change mouserate,if this doesnt work via safe mode,tell me and I will post the other version here.

thx RATZ and FLEX. help me usbport.sys from FLEX and copy that file in SAFE MODE to WINDOWS/system32/drivers and next also in safe mode change mouserate in usbmsr11.exe. THX for help Big grin

btw I play on 250Hz now

i had this problem all the time with usbmrs11.exe but when i used the following (attached), i had no problems at all...now at 1000hz Happy anything less is just unplayable for me...

Yes,this is the other version,more newer which has one big advantage that it doesnt affect other USB ports,it only changes the mouse port rate,leaving others at default 125 Hz + u dont need to go in safe mode to change mouse rate.

I wanted to post this anyway and now tyr did it for me...thx man Happy Cause I wanted to ask ppl with mx510,can u try 1000Hz,this version has a flaw that it doesnt work well with older motherboards (mine is one of those) and I cant get 1000Hz on 510...has anyone had more luck? KM got 700 or 750 Hz effective on his MX500.
