I voted for insta but now I don't particularly care. As long as the system used in cw's is used in public, i'm happy. And yes I understand you fala, no win situation.

imho 50%+1 vote - is a "simple majotity" and should be enough to go with instarail...

btw i still dont get the point to change e+ gameplay so much as plusN did. Before we had plus.cfg which was satisfy most ppl, and then - bah - power-ups - armors - other damage system etc, why don't just implement minimum changes to plus.cfg for running smooth at 2.0a and stay ur hands off it? Now it looks like feeding ego convincing yourself that its making community happier and helping to progress, but it's NOT! sorry to all cfg developers, nothing personal.

And about timers and power-ups - like riddler said - most ppl picking them if they are there, i can say about mr - 2-3 ppl from whole clan watching to the timer... and about camping, power-ups and armors didn't reduced it in any way as i see, i agree camping is a quickest way to win some matches, but it wont bring any clan to success for long term period... improve teamwork and tactic movement - thats the key (sry mr'z but we need some strong enemies so i should say it Tongue)

Fala's argument is that armours will give a better chance of a moving team to beat a camping team (who stays in one room). Clans that camp, such as bbs or c4 (sorry to pick on you guys Tongue), will always camp and there is no way of stopping them. However armours, which are scattered around different rooms, will give a a moving team a better chance of defeating 4 enemies who camp in one room i.e. enemy will need more than one rail shot to frag hence giving you an advantage.

Thing is, when two moving clans play each other, armours brings along another tactical side to the game what doc is referring to - timing your moves right to collect armours/powerups. I think that is what annoys most "plusn whiners" - equality of players is gone and equality is why many of us came to/play this mod.

Exactly! plusN makes me remember my old Quake 2 times in local network, when we have to move controlling armors and power-ups, but then we all moved to Q2 RailArena Mod, where u moves covering ur teammates which was much more fun then counting the damn timer... here e+ gives more flexible possibilities to move around the map combining jumps, but covering ur m8s and predict theirs moves still is much funnier then watching stupid timer. And again - all who wanna control power-ups and armors - go play freakin cpma\ql and leave this place like it was before, we came here for other aspects! GRRRR!

NO!

im fine with an instagib-conf ...
but this makes all other weapons quite useless
(unless they can be used for a quick and deadly spam)!

if we have a conf with more weapons than Rail only,
the Rail should NOT kill instantly!!!
its not logic (and it also makes the item-system useless)!

if u have more than 300 percent of health,
u should be able to survive 1 (or more) hit/s by ANY weapon!

Edit: all ppl that want insta, should play insta (instead of plus)!
and shall not send ppl to another MOD!!!
e+ is NOT instaGib (only)!

NAME THE CONF: plus-insta.cfg!

well the most of normal and skilled players, going to play in ql, and leave e+. why? bcoz of boring plus.cfg with insta rg and hard camping style, with spamming in a doors all the time, for make some freebie frags [question, for what then in plus, all weapons? make a cfg with insta rg, gl and bfg]. for me also was a bit boring to play in it. so im played the most of time in ql. had even idea to leave this community. but still here bcoz of plusn. about insta rail or non, in this topic, in my opinion, here, on this forum, with approx 50-80 registered players, which isnt in a clan, can vote for insta bcoz they doesnt know a real situation on the wars and on the public. the public its one stuff, wars its others, so i cant get the point, for what make a vote? also even im know that some random players from pub, will vote for insta, bcoz they are so lazy & stupid to collect the arrmors (im dont talking about timing, just collect, i think noone dont will make a timing of 3-4 yellow on the map. red and mega, is other stuff) even in e+, and cant hit twice in a row, if enemy get the some arrmors. system with armors [mnc edition] make the game much more interesting and non-campish. 

also i can say if u want insta rail, go to play in instagib.

look the meaning of the word "excessive" up in your dictionary.. and as
they want to say, sometimes in past there was excessive FUN (insta?),
not excessive counting of every second (=uninsta/armors?!)

the thing with laziness and stupidity invisible... ppl may say that you
are shitty skilled & scared of dying by 1 railshot... its not about
laziness.. (not offending, just an example) one side can think out many
stinking situations or examples to injury the second side, as the second
side can do the same too, so please, dont say that somebody is stupid, because you like

+1 , why ? simply its litle bit bored thing to shot in one moment - give me more dog fights.. but in fact u cant stand agains insta gun disbalance with other uncomparable kids-pistols
