Rail must kill instantly or not?
- all equal when we spawn
- instarail/instagaunt
- no selfdamage
- all weapons with unlimited ammo
- multijump

I like more non-insta only beause my rail sucks xD But I have no problems playing both, that's why I voted "I don't care". Anyway, this discussion is not going anywhere, so maybe is a good idea to start proposing solutions instead of the mindless discussion.
From my side, since it seems the majority (55% so far) prefers insta rail, maybe fala can make xp_itemStyle
default to 1 instead of 4. Also, on rankings and/or cups, make xp_itemStyle
default to 1 but still letting clans play on another settings if both agree.
I don't think it will change the outcome of the pool that much, but the pool is unreliable, because there is a contradiction in the second point. It says: wathever your reasons NO : Rail does not necessarily need to kill instantly (picking armors or/and health should protect)
The orange and green parts contradict each other. You need to remove the orange part imo.

The e+flexibility is important,
but we should find a common switch-/cycle-time
for most confs.
It should be changed only for special features
(as for special weapon-ideas;
the DOOM-BFG doesnt need a certain switch/cycle,
u would just need to reduce its amount of ammo
to avoid spam, for example! (Y)

but a slower switch (*longer switchtime)
is slowin u down again.

*ZMB*INSANEKID*, the thing u probably missed in the theory is the fact that freeze is a team game, and the TEAM is mos important.
In every team game u will going to die if u trying to face opponents alone no mater how fast the switch going to be and how many bullets u can throw at enemies in one second their chances doubles triples or even more.
By lowering down the switch time more than it is u will get only a little more chances to defend yourself but only if the opponents are slower at spaming than u, if they going to be faster u won't get even a chance to pull a trigger.
The notion that armor makes for less camp is just nonsense, and it would be obvious to anyone who had bothered to actually play the past realeases. Unfortunatley fala hasn't. If anything it adds more camp to the game - thus the logical implication that you either make it a full baseq3 gameplay or none at all. As it stands it's just useless. Either you want a bad copy of original q3 or you want what E+ always was. It's a no brainer.
You can’t believe how much i want to get into this thread, but I don’t play enough at the moment to have a valid “of the moment” point of view, allied to the fact I have a list of things to do and the time to do them equation imbalance. So I’m just going to old school it and say I voted instant kill all the way, without it you miss the super joy of killing 3 people at once, reason enough. if they dont have extra-health
(less or equal 300%)!

armor system haven't been changed since begging of this cfg we have
just fixed items placement for some maps
but ok u people have convinced me plusN development will be stooped,
use plusbeta.cfg as it seems majority want to play plusbeta and the key goals of plusN have get flushed by more than a half of the community there is no longer a reason to develop those innovations and all the things people want is in plusbeta already
