about number 1:
If it has been some argument on the servers about what apollo said, then this is the wrong thread. If it is about what he posted here, then I can say the same for you, you aren't a mod and can't decide whats right and wrong within this thread. If you 'have' any suggestion then you should phrase it like that. However this thread was made so every player can post their oppinions.

about number 2:
Ever thought about he might not trust you? Also he has full right to ask here if somebody cheats or not. He also has the right to say that he thinks other people are not constructive, same as killer has the right to post his oppinion about specific players/their specific hacks (As long as he is NOT bullshitting which he is mostly).

Btw, about the suggestion to make this thread admins only - there is already a hidden forum for such stuff and just people who showed good argumentation on catching cheaters are invited to it (besides e+ admins).

Thats mostly the unlagged effect - depending on ping you can see people fire more then a player away and still hit, together with messy e+ I already had situations where I could see myself fire away and hit *g*.

About the fire rate and damage of mg, there is NO hack which alters that, there is also no norecoil hack in q3 as far as I know.

Both combined together give a pretty neat effect, most players hit with mg while aiming on the edge of the hitbox, the spread gotta effectively rip 50% of bullets in the air - If people aim on the middle of the hitbox the hitting and damage doubles, while both look quite the same (It's about tracking a bit behind the enemy or tracking on or tracking ahead of enemy a bit). On Unlagged they both look like they are off the hitbox thous you can't recognize much of a difference.

Maybe, even if most people in e+ don't think that old players might have a hack, its still a possibility, especially if the person got slaved by the hack over the time (Mental weakness). Those Mental weakness is also the reason why most 'flamekiddos' are mostly cheating when they play too good for their normal results. Funnily, most people have a right feeling about those people at the right time - as happened to fairy.
Never underestimate your feelings, the human body gives quite a good response about whats true and whats not, its just a question of interpretation if you use the results right or wrong.
