Please stop your endless bitching about me and Excessive Plus. Foksie never contacted me, nor did he made any attempts to contribute to this project. Their initial release was 98% identical to an older Excessive Plus release (simple binary comparison), except all "Excessive Plus" strings had been replaced by "Excessive Dawn". I mean there's still even the "whatistheshit" (edawn-1.0.1, copyright, patented, trademark of Mark) dead code inside, which was an old and bad repository hack of Mark to play us a joke, which unfortunately has been forgotten and thus made it into the release.

You don't have to be a genius hacker to find out that it is based on our code. Yes, our code, not mine. And that disrespect about others people work is something I can't stand. I might be the person who still is active after so much disrespect from parts of the community but without the support and code donations of Mark, Stefen, Beast and Panda (and of course the hundreds of other donations made by various people, being it ideas, gameplay concepts, graphics etc. - just sorry, it would be too long to list all the names), we would not be were we are now.

It's also untrue that my activity back then was based on that pirated mod. Actually I did not even know about it at that time, people on this site did inform me. After it was brought to my attention they have been asked to join/contribute, you can find their "professional behaviour" and answers in the archives of this forum.

It's just that the time I can donate to this project is defined by my job. That's why more and more access is given to other persons to keep this community alive, as I can't do it all alone.
Currently my job permits to spend some time here and that's what I am doing after all, we brought you a very neat release, fixed/added all of your requests, the game has never been that smooth. It's true that some minor issues have been introduced, but hey, that's what happens when moving forward/adding features. Our goal is not to freeze in 1999 but to evolve the game.

Currently I am doing what I have actually promised before the release. I donate some time to the website, try to separate sensible parts to allow others to contribute to this place without having tons of threads like "this developer is biased! he plays in clan X and can read all our tactics and passwords!!!" - by the way also fix reported bugs for the 2.3 release - just the causal procedure. Of course summer and wife also demands some time but that's just normal. I wish I could perfom magic but unfortunately I am just human.

Even more, I wish to be by the sea now.

PS: To make it less offtopic. We do not block any servers from the spider. Hizy server simply does not register with our master server, for what ever reason.

Just imagine some random spam from "madbringer" in your PM. You read it, you trash it. EOF.

Seriously, I read all of them and try to answer most of them. It's not like I would only get "fan post", sometimes it's not really motivating to answer and you can't demand an answer either when writing such letters.

It's also interessting how people who actually contributed never had problems to contact me.

This and just on this I have to support madbringer, since i had 2 pms never answered, 1 of them reached the proud age of 2 years. Ofc, they were not about next release, they were about problems with some cvars, but they never were answered. But i can't speak for Trance and Foksie.

And to make it clear, i am generally on easy's side "also" because Trance, Foksie and company did just used me, my servers, my good will and after all they felt into my back.
