If you are about to offer help to your friend, do you write that into the newspaper in the hope that he, eventually, will read it? Wouldn't you just call him and offer your help, just like Beast did? Are you sure you had no "chinese mushrooms"?

Would you love me more if i'd be more like "hizy/warrior"? (Sorry, I don't know you, you might be a nice person after all. This is just based on what has been written here). It would be only a few clicks to clean that forum from the haters and make this a better place for newcomers. A huge part in here don't even know what we are talking about, as they have not been here back then. You cannot bring up any arguments that would make an illegal task (more) legal.

Am I supposed to fulfill your demands? Do I have to make our work open source? No, really. I can't repeat that enough, I am not the only person developing this. However, I personally, have plans to release my work and possibly all donations of others, if they consent, as open source once our support for this mod ends (which won't happen in the next few years).

i think it matters more to talk about the future then about the past. Right now the past has ended and cannot be changed. We should focus on the plans and solutions for the next waves of problems. Its not quite like that. "Hiszy's crew" is not related with the Edawn story for developing it .. Hiszy is just using edawn for his servers, im sorry Exo/buckwild but this topic got more in history of e+ then was predicted..

I'm not sure what you are talking about. With illegal I meant the intrusion into our webspace service, which we did provide for the community free of charge by the way, and downloading of the source code which was hosted on the same machine. A criminal act in most countries I am aware of, as well as using the pirated code.

Like said, I had my reasons for the "absense" which I will not bring into detail as they are of familial nature. You will have to life with that as it is the past. Funny how you blame the one left active but not those who are actually inactive. I surely will suggest them to stay inactive as long as people like you are around that place.

I'm also not sure what you mean by "protect the will of the team", actually I don't understand your whole last statement. But don't worry, it won't get open source as long as the servers are frequently visited, exactly for reasons like stated by you.

Why does it even matter?

1) Edawn was coded to perfection and is now a vq3-style meta mod.
2) The people who "stole code" stopped caring/moved circa May 2009 (and was picked up by some coders who did quite a fine job). You guys should too.
3) This is a little off-topic but since this is a topic easy will read, please consider revising your focus group for beta releases as there were some weird new additions which will further alienate this mod (mostly including graphical interfaces and sound files).
4)You guys are thinking of Holy that was in hyper for like a week in early 2006 but got busted by bert for cheating. Completely different guy to holy*fag (he was HOLY*KO but got kicked for shittalk or inactivity or something)
5) Considering the sort of drooling and downright (i could not think of a proper noun as I woke up in the middle of the night and am going back to sleep in 5, best i could think of was "Xd plz"-ish)motley crew of randoms it has brought over the past year and a half, it's a blessing that the admin of the full and heavy populated servers doesnt add master.excessiveplus.net to his main trackers, lest even more tolerable people would bail on this mod in search of pastures green.
