Yea and edawn would have never been created if you would have updated E+ at least every year once.
Disrespect from parts of the community? you forced them to find a solution themself.
Stealing your mod? Not under the purpose to do any harm to your personally, they didn't get themself a similar mod for making money or something, rather as contribute to the community.
Compare it to illegal downloading a game, it is not supposed to harm any producer, especially if you wouldn't have bought it. If people would have more money they would simply buy games and test them instead. If people would have more updates they would simply test them and give you feedback instead of having to make their own fix, because they lost hope in YOU easy.

Agree, it has never been that smooth... but never so crucial lamed. Modelscale is causing more then just effective damage, more of a psychological damage. Eventhough 1.03 had the 1on1 bug and 1-2 other stuff, there was at least not modelscale in it. Modelscale has been the biggest threat to public gameplay since I am in this mod.
You know easy, after all, I don't eat your answers, they do never display any sort of conflict or critical self reflection besides obvious facts which is quite odd.

Skulls post just makes my point absolutely clear. When reading it unbiased, there is nothing to add. Ingnorant, demanding, disrespectful, trying to turn quoted parts to fit own arguments that do not make any sense when being read in the original context.

Edit: Good point madbringer, (I eventually will reply to your future PM now. No! You were never on my ignore list, nor do I have any ignore list). I also stated somewhere that I can understand their motivation, what I don't understand is that they are still sharing our work, without permission and without even telling their "fans" about it's origin.
If mow Q says I did not reply to his request, it must be true and I don't deny it. However I am sure that I did answer more recent requests of him. I apologize for that, maybe I forgot to reply, maybe it had some other reasons. Sometimes I just read through them from work and reply at a later time.
If it would make sense, I could scan through old messages and answer them. However I don't think that would make much sense. If someone really feels pretermitted, please bump your message and I will reply.
My "long absense" had some personal reasons that I don't want to bring into detail here. Nevertheless I was still visiting that place during this unpleasant time, some people will remember.

Well, for my requests it wouldn't make sense, true. And it is true that you replied my pms quickly, before and after your long-time-absence.
OH, and thx for ur blind trust in me Nevertheless you was missed nearly 3 years without a life-sign, which is ofc no reason to steal something.
If i would be you, i wouldn't get anymore into the edawn-e+ developmentdiscussion, since u r here now again and u seem to make a proper job (sorry, except the modelscale thing). I am pretty sure, epsi could help you also on coding (beast is inactive, so you would have 2 hands more again).
So, it would be nice, if you could do a hotifix, so we could turn it off at least serverside (to allow it or not to allow on the servers, so the decission is up to the serverowner).
Beast once introduced that the server can be updated without the client gets updated, dunno if it is possible in this case, nevertheless, a hotfix for this single case would be awesome, the bugs with console and the other (compared to this) trivials can be done with 2.3 imo.

@easy, ehem.... maybe u aren't noticing now those things are real because u have overslept 3 years...
e+ community was abandoned by around 3 years, people was offering help, trying to get help, there was many posts and i bet also many private msg's directed to u, even there was few ideas to make code open source
and nothing... not even a single comment about all those requests and knocking to e+ devs doors by so long...
so u saying that u have ignored all those because for u it was only a spam? OH DAMN we all thought u might even be dead :///
@warior, never will understand when someone trying to defend his servers, his config, protecting from leaving by members ect. ect. by trying to make a complete monopoly and take away all freedom of choice...

@fala, yes this is absolutely what I have said.
Oh wait, if you read again you will notice that I got no requests to join the development team before Beast. Also Panda did not apply and I am more than happy to have asked her, as she is really an awesome person and very talented.
Like already said, I did read all PMs, some were assistance requests to setup a proper server. Others that got resolved by the author within a second PM. Most bug reports have been set back to "unread" until I had time to fix it, while others have been answered. All kind of these which are still in my archive as I am too lazy to delete them.
It is true that I did not read every single post in the forum during that time, actually I don't even read every single post now. But that is exactly why there is a way to directly contact people, being it PM or email (where I prefer email as I can even read that on my smartphone).
I am sorry if you expect me to read it all but my time simply does not permit this. If you feel the need to talk to me, you can always contact me. Be sure to bump your message if you do not get the reply fast enough, as the past has shown that I seem to be unable to reply in time. Will try to find some pills in the pharmacy to cure this.
PS: I will now spend some nights on the release. Could happen that I don't read/reply here anymore, just to inform you guys. Feel free to contact me.

I just don't get it why a main forum administrator together with one of the best server administrators back in the days stolen the code after there was like 10 topic in the forum about making source code a open source code or let other people to code for u. Those was a few public topics on the forum! (without even a single word from u) Right after all that asking they have stolen the code! amazing! they probably did it because u was here ready for cooperation
