Quake III Arena... on Steam??
lol zack, if u wanted the cds for q3 why didnt u go to amazon.co.uk? and TD, you don't know what exactly rage has tried regarding installing e+, so don't insult him by saying he "lacks the knowledge to do that stuff" im sure he isnt a retard
Nah he is really haha
Rage, pls look in ur folder "Valve/Steam/SteamApps/common" there u rQuake III Arena should be, and there u should be able also to install ur mods. (if it is not there, search in other folders of steam, but for sure, ur Q3 is there somewhere and u CAN install mods). In there u should have also ur Q3-exe, which u can link to ur qconnect, or ase or kquery or whatever u use to connect to a server.
I am really sure u can install ur mods as u r used to it, just the location of ur Q3 is different. Because for my Painkiller i can add also any mod i want.
Have u received any CD-Key? If not, check ur baseq folder in steam for a key-file, and open it with wordpad or something, and voila, u have ur original cd-key, which u can use for ur old installed Q3. (Presupposed you do not want to deal with Steam.)
haha sweet i love you mow!
now how to get them to work without internet access
That is in my eyes the only cure of steam, steam need to be run to play a game u have from steam and u need i-net for it. If u run steam more often, it wont need much resources for updatings and similiar.
havnt really had time to test all this.
so this means i have all them games for life?
an can play on another machine with internet?
an wont be billed for say years subscription?
No...?
I need to pay a monthly subscrition or somthing?
