Hello

I have a small problem, I have tried to change the Customisation of the lightning beam here at E+ CFG to WIDE BEAM like the picture below

if i dont mistaking i manedg to pull this off before here at E+ (not sure tho) I have read the changelogs etc but i cant find any info on this. Is it even possible to customize the Lightning style? here at E+ that is

I just typed /xp_nomip 0 and it turned out like this.

cg_altLightning0-1-2

cg_nomip <bitmask> (default = 0 - all gfx follow r_picmip)
Allows changing graphics to picmip 1 setting, regardless of
current r_picmip setting. The parameter for this setting
is a bitmask:
1 - LightningGun shaft
2 - PlasmaGun bolt
4 - Rocket Launcher explosions
8 - Grenade Launcher explosions
16 - Bullets (machinegun and shotgun)
32 - Railgun
64 - BFG
128 - Blood marks
256 - Smoke puffs

I was looking through some old tools and i found this in quake III e+ config editor: cg_truelightning 1 or 0 is a straight beam. A huge number will disable the beam at all. Try it Tongue

coz i tried 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and there was no changes for me.

and plz can u take a picture how it looks now ?

ofc My settings r as it follows

Xp_nomip 2
cg_altlightning 2
r_picmip 7

All tho i must say, the changes did not appear when i did vid_restart after typing in the commands, Changes did appear first when i joined one server and evrything suddently worked. (dunno why) Perhaps i have one old PlusN.cfg wich those futures r not applied that i use in singel mode for warmup dunno. (i cant gett it to work at singel mode) dunno why

It would be awesome if this future could be added Using the WIDE BEAM whit using only r_picmip 1 because as it looks atm this cant be done unless u have r_picmip high value (i could be wrong on this last statement) I have forgotten almost all commands because off my inactivity last years. i think i need to start study all commands once again lol Happy
