Valerian root based pills are actually effective for relaxation (widely availiable in russia too). Oh and put that pantha du prince cd and play on speakers on very low volume. I would also advise a shower cos water like that relaxes you as well (and no heavy excercise before sleep just some warn down easy stuff maybe ) gl (no quake is good step too ) oh and if you find yourself not falling asleep, project yourself to happy holiday / memory / etc)

agree 100% to kinda everything u said. The focus/unfocus my thoughts thing doesnt work so well for me though, they jump around like they want..
So does mine but in time it works (not always ofc - depends of the thoughts I got)

lol i dont think so, only got problems falling asleep, my sleep itself is wonderful perfect amazing deep long (at least 10 hours if im not disturbed) and everything positive u can imagine including a sneezing panda baby
I read a scientific study few months ago that too much sleep can do harm to a human organism same as the lack of sleep. And there it says that 6.5 - 7.5 hours of sleep is optimal for everyone (depends of the age ofc) but that 8 hours and more is no good. I also enjoy sleeping but that article made me wonder.
And all know that they feel more sleepy if they sleep too much (10 hours or more).
SO..to conclude that part - MAYBE U should try 8 hours of sleeping max. Then U might feel tired enough to sleep when U lay down in bed. Since 10 hours (at least) give U "too much" energy it seems.

the quickest way ive got to sleep is getting shit faced. i could sleep outside thats how affective it is.

get an alarm clock and set it for 8 or 9am. also if you went sleeping just 7am.
after a maximum of 2 or 3 days you will start sleeping earlier, promise!
human body takes the amount of sleep it needs... in case you overslept some days you will be less sleepy the next. some ppl need just 5h, others need 9h of sleep... test what your body needs.
ofc eating or exercising right before sleeping is a bad idea... so is focusing the sleep like "omfg when I will finally fall asleep"...

ofc! you gotta lay it above your eyes while you sleep. but be careful what kind of cheese you take... I heard gouda gives you LSD-like dreams and Emmentaler lets you remember only the stinky part of your dreams

decreasing my amount of sleep and changing my rhythm might be the next step^^ but now its an emergency case and i need fast working methods...
