thats what i wrote in my first post.. getting drunk is no solution cuz there is at least the possibility to get a hangover the next day..
and weed also makes my mind dizzy the next day and i can concentrate less (last time i smoked weed before uni i made up the theory that birds are the highest step on evolution while sitting in history of arts D: )
and farther i dont know any other drug that gives u good sleep without side effects (though i do know drugs that give u good sleep Tongue )

and shady, i always hear pantha du prince and others (arovane, afx or piano music) while learning, it helps me concentrating Happy

Also if it is available in Germany, try tryptophan. (Is same natural sedative found in turkey that makes you tired. Happy ) And melatonin is safe to use, is already produced in your brain. Just some people's brains lack it to help them fall asleep. Bummer you cannot get melatonin in Germany. Tongue

Exercise - a tea spoon full of valerian before meal - simpsons - 4 hours of learning - masturbate (thx for the tip, reckless Big grin ) - shower - 2 tea spoons full of valerian:
was about 1am, i wanted to grab a book and read to sleep but wasn't necessary anymore i just turned off the light and was uberchilled (guess that was the valerian-effect), quite a good feeling, but i didnt really fall asleep it was kinda like sleeping with eyes open the whole night, but the morning i felt ok..

but it seems that i instantly fell back into my former rhythm.. i kinda try to sleep since 3am... maybe i should set an alarm.. well.. gn

I got the same problem my brain keeps on going like a Multicore machine , perhaps you got ADHD or ADD wich is developed in a later stadium in your life , or lots of stress for sleeping you can use DIAZEPAM OXAZEPAM or TEMAZEPAM wich i dont recommand because these are VALIUMS and make you DROWSY like hell , i recommand if you realy cant sleep to take SEROQUEL , or ZOPOLICON  INSOMNIA FTW Shock

Zolpidem 10 mg snorted - you go sleep in a minute.
Benzodiazepines that dementor mentioned are a bit weak, I'm at 80mg of oxazepam now and dont feel sleepy at all, and even so it isnt used for insomnia treatment, as is diazepam (of wich oxazepam is active methabolite), but mostly for axiety. Temazepam is afair ok for insomnia, never tried. Other benzos good for sleeping are nitrazepam - good, estazolam (also for anxiety), clonazepam (also for epilepsy, better be careful with it because it can cause paradoxal effects like lack of self control, excitation), alprazolam - very addictive because of short T1/2. To sum up all benzodiazepines can make you feel sleepy but all they vary at stringness of effects they cause (one can be more muscle relaxant, one can cause more sefl confidence - alprazolam, one can be as sleeping pill, one is used as epilepsy drug).
The best I left for end - midazolam, it's one the strongest benzodiazepine if we mean treating insomnia, it's used with fentanyl as premedication before surgery. IT IS very strong, and can cause amnesia after using. But it's one of two benzodiazepines than are water soluble so it can be injected, some say its very good that way, i never tried, but it can also be snorted, cause of its water disvolvness.
To put all of this together the best is zolpidem, because it is not so addictive as benzodiazepines although it does affect the same receptors - GABA-a, so it is put together with them as psychoactive drugs.
There is also hydroxizinum, and others firs-generation antyhistamine drugs wich can help you sleepy but for me they are not good, cause they make you feel sleepy even after waking up, and for me it sucked.

BEWARE of benzodizepines, they can be seemed like miracle candies, but with some of them withdrawal effects are horrible, like with alprazolam (Xanax or other generics). Some ppl who used both, said that withdrawal from benzo was more horrile that withdrawal from heroine. I mean cold turkey withdrawal, because normally after long term use you have to reduce slowly doses to get out of it, because if you do it rapidly you can be affected with severe side effects.

I wrote this long post to warn those who want to start experimenting with benzos. I'm not saint I also like to use them to help fall asleep, and to relax but I'm glad I don't have regular access, because I know I would overuse them.

Think its not ADD/ADHD, but i fear that my unability to sleep is not the problem, but only the symptom..

@benzos: I try to keep drugs out of my daily routine.. never wanna be at the point where i cant sleep (or live) without being influenced by anything anymore, so for me takin drugs is more sth like a "free-time activity"^^
Plus i once tried Bromazepan which i was told is quite a strong one (i guess its mostly used against anxiety), but it didnt have much effect on me..

This night i didnt sleep at all btw, hope that its helping me getting back to a more healthy rhythm
