if you wanna advance in e5

make weapon configs to play on

MachineGun only, LightningGun only, BFG only and Rail only

load them in youre singleplayer, play play play aim aim aim sens sens sens at some point you will see that the aim will improof dramatic and voila you can compete with the *cough* "elite" *cough*

i used to do it and it worked good Winking

for movement lessons PM me Tongue ( no CTF )

There is many empty servers. Big grin i've got an idea Big grin - just do one server only for practice - there new and old players could train maps, movement, sharing experience - helping each others. I can imagine that it would be great. Just rename empty server and advert it Happy

best practice is to apply stuff you theoretically learned to practical public gaming.

Re: training methods?

Thanx for so many answers!) Hm maybe somebody can record a demo or video of his training?
i dont know if i must move the whole hand or not....maybe it will be effective to train rail with settings when rail for example hit only 1 point of live but u see that u hit the enemy.... on era with bots i have 5-6 min 200 frags and i am not strong in making my own server cfgs for training and weapon cfgs too but ee offcouse good players move so that i cant hit them at all so bot killing is not effective. if it will be possible to orgonize good players playing with gauntlet and try to hit them)

It is better to learn you keep a relaxed hand and move the mouse mainly with your arm. so you can react quicker and without fatigue. (heh i might be wrong but thats how i play when i play well)

PS: im very low sens players so others will use different tactic.

Re: training methods?

There are tons of demos out there of good players at this mod, see my
links for some examples. And plenty more on vanilla and other
variations. Maybe you could post a demo of yourself, so we could tell
you what to work on? What gametypes do you play, and what mouse/setup do
you have?

Another link with railonly and dm17 and some good aimers
