Just turn off xp_antiWallhackLevel to 0 on the server and problem with delayed popuping up enemies will fix itself.

I prefer xp_antiWallhackLevel 1, seems more stable than values above it 1-5 if not set to 0.
The poping up enemies will always happen, but with value 1 its more like it happening more rarely, especially if I set my cl_timenudge either to -30 or 30 Happy

if you could do separately xp_antiSoundhackLevel...

then we could use next level:

xp_antiSoundhackLevel "1"

xp_antiWallhackLevel "3"

For all the server owners:

Please if you are using AntiCheat or AntiWallhack features for your server, just use SETS instead of a SET on your server.cfg, so the variables can be seen public on web spider:
sets xp_antiCheatLevel "value"
sets xp_antiWallhackLevel "value"

Is this new cvar documented somehow? I mean in which way is this working against wallhacks?

easy, think you make error, when allowed to choose level for aWH, just you could integrate max aWH level to xp_matchmode 1...

in other words, level 5 filters most strict, you can expect enemies popups right onto you behind the wall without any noise, while level 1-3 is less strict, it means, even if you wont be able to see enemies thru the walls with active wallhack cheat or r_shownormals cmd in dev mode, you will be able to hear them before they appear and in most cases they doesnt appear just like that on your screen, but those sudden appears happen even on level 1, it cannot be fixed, its due to the map structure, you can check that on q3dm1 map on the center passage, how does it work on the crossroads, or with lvl 1-5 with r_shownormals and noclip hidding behind the walls, you can test which value works the best for the gameplay not the how to destroy the wallhack cheat at all.

Why you are so persistent about AWH level 5 ?
level 1 is most playable, while other values makes the effect same as on ioq3 on rus rail servers where peoples whined about it since the beggining...
