Just want to say that I wholeheartedly agree with Mad and that what is "fair" and not isn't so easy as to set a rule in stone and always forever and ever judge everyone and every circumstance with the same hammer. This is proven over and over and still hard to explain, but likely the biggest reason is that a single rule over a couple of lines of text cannot cover all imagined and unimagined circumstances.
(I have no thoughts or opinion about this particular case, only commenting because I have good - or should we say bad - experience of the "treat everyone the same" mentality.)

I must quote my self 
This forum read server owners and server admins. They vote and make ANTI CHEATER LAW in huge majority, we move from ZERO tolerance to more liberated and flexible one. So, it is up to them would they obey to own law or not... Also each of us have own opinion and believe, so we all will take it on own way... For me is only matter did PB what it catch was cheat or not.....

rena im not a noob that im saying something without proof. One of my good friend on this mod said it and its officially know thing not only in this mod. At the moment pb doesnt detect it as i know and dunno how many ppl play with it. All i know is that similar to wallhack. Atm i dont wanna tell his nick or something. Well maybe someone more hear about it.....dont be shy just take a part of this conversation. If i'll get it i post this shit here just for proof.

I know what you're saying is true, man. I don't even know Panic all that much, but i played a lot of gg's against and with him, and the thought that this dude might actually cheat never entered my mind.
Eh. I'm just glad decisions like that aren't mine to take.

This should be decided by a democratic vote from the admins, I don't see an other way to handle it. On the one hand being caught again is a certain ban, but on the other banning someone innocent would be very unfair. In the end you can't be 100% sure and you have to take some chances.

one point, a q2 cheat.. is that newly added to the list of PB kicks? surely someone who has one ounce of mentality to use a hack and search it out on the net and install it, would have enough sense to see that it is for Q2. and how would that work in a different game?
was PB already running at the time or did you turn it on wax?

it probably affects same parts of any game (mouse position etc)
a lot of games have interchangeable cheats (you can use them on multiple games)
and since he claims ignorance it can also be that he was ignorant in the fact that the particular cheat is detected. maybe its a new addition?

sigh....here we go again sleepwalking with the naive belief of the stories of fools.
Could it be that maybe, just maybe he was frustrated at being "not exactly amazing" and was starting to try out cheats, and pb did exactly what its supposed to do and caught him using a cheat? And when it did all we do is look for excuses for him.
And it will mean nought that just before the kick I was suspicious as he didn’t seem to be missing a shot. Nope this will just be a biased view from someone who took the screenshot and has a vested interest in being right...now that sounds crazy to me
...but not as crazy as this line of irrational pandering we seem to taking to people who would destroy gaming for the rest of us....
I know this is in disagreement with some people whose views I respect, but its something I feel strongly about and have to voice my opinion.
But please, all who feel thoughts of liberality and forgiveness, remember this is not some noob or player who maybe didn’t know better. It is a person busted for cheating already and has played many years, if he loved the game and the community as much as he protests, we would not be having this debate
.... he would not be the first person to have played a long time then get caught cheating.
Again for those who don’t know me, it is not my nature to be absolute or hard-line, I’m tolerant of many things, and always wish to show support in the positive in life. It is indeed my love of this community and the respect of well skilled and time served players that we have to be vociferous against such threats as cheating.
