After the 'Holy' case , i think It would be good that we elect , some players , each one of them representing a clan , to form a council... this council will have to judge all players complaints about cheaters , and a proper forum for it.
they will have to make rules , for them to work with.
once the cheater is found guilty , with proofs sufficient enough , to convince the council , after a vote. clans or players wich are affiliated to this council , by accepting its system , will be forced to obey by the judgement and apply the verdict to the player found guilty of cheating.
We can even imagine penalties verdicts that can go with the gravity of the cheat. ( instead of banning permanently a player , for example ,) he would have suspention to play on tournaments or leagues for like three months or suspension from wearing tag , or ban for some period of time or ban permanently at the worst case.
Of course, this requires agreement of clans and whole community to this new rules and organisation and also requires good means to apply verdicts properly.
I personnaly think that number of members in this council would be around five , or seven.
I can propose , those members wich honesty and love for the E+ community has no need to be proven :

Good idea, something like this is bound to evolve after all the cheating incidents. In fact, I'm surprised it wasn't suggested earlier. The community needs a united front against cheaters, with the ability to effectively deal with them also.
However, I don't think many will agree with 5 people beeing some kind of supreeme judges over certain players. But I can't see any problem with clans agreeing to banning a player on their servers. But no one should be "forced" to do this.

uhh.. sorry casa.. with all the respect for and ppl u mentioned, why do some PPL make this a cheater community! dont we have any other stuff to do like:
helping + team [by giving suggestions, finding bugs],
having fun playing [leagues, cups, ect],
for me its easy - some1 cheats:
1. i demo him ..
2. i enable pb
3. when im sure i ban him, report IP on forums and IM admins [if im not sure i w8 till ive got good enough proofs so i have clear conscience]
also few days ago, some1 mentioned "when i visit forum, each day i see new cheater topic" lets quit it! some1 cheats = ban, no second chance! no explaining! no council to decide wheter he cheated or NO!
btw. I feel bad that u didnt mention no1 from drt... i think were also big part of this community, but i gues u think else...

you are right. DRT must be in. i said in my post (all people that community finds necessary).ringos are a reference in E+ and must be a good repressive way to implement decision about cheaters.

well u didnt get my main point.. arent we making TO BIG fuzz about cheaters? any council wont change it, it will just make more flames..
lets just stick to simple rule:
cheating = ban4ever

yes i think casablanca has a great idea... coz then it will stop all the flaming/butting in from people outside the discussion who don't really know what they are talking about...
we need some wise players in the council... but i think no more than 5players should be elected b'coz otherwise it may lead to flaming within the council
and faith, for example... someone may wallhack/cheat... but if they keep they're cool and they don't insult anyone then it may lead to a non-permenant banning sentence... possibly 3months or so...
if someone cheats and flames people etc.. calling people noobs, then that would lead to permenent banning, and also people who just flame should be temporarily banned as i think its very anti-social....
i hope i got my msg across 
it probably doesn't make sense

Cheating = Ban Forever, yes.
May I suggest, this Council is a great idea, but I see it useless against Cheating. Moreover cases of Flaming/Abuse seems better.
(Damnit I want to be on that list, I been here a while too 
)

well there is enough people in this community to do all of those things and still enough to have a panel of people that can make decisions as a group to get what is best for all - not just for banning cheats but for abuse / racism / sexism / having bad haircuts. . . etc etc. look at the positive that can come out of this - dont go into it with a closed mind

supreme judges.i dont think it will be like that.it will mostly be a reference.
say , you can be convicted of cheating if..and only if you have been kicked by punkbuster..or found guilty by the council.
this add another standard to the community and will stop endless fights about who is cheater and who is not.
these members will also have server owners amongst them , this means they can execute verdicts immediatly.
