Well the problem as well mentioned back there is that many players are saying bs to each other and this making huge divisions in e+ comunity. What casa is trying to do is not exactly for decide time perdiod cheats.. the idea is in the air waiting to be modeled like we are doing right now
About the cheating personaly i think eternal ban from here is good.
about racism/sexism/bstalker/anoying/ theres should be some penalty to those players who disrupt the peace on servers. Kouse admins we kare about the fair games in all servers of e+ and sometimes some mofo is ruining 20's people fun. So this kind of problems should be solved via temporaly ban.
And more easy way to do it is not puting a flame into a gas can open like public forums:
1- go to your selected persons (i dont c the "power"word here)
2-talk about the problem and show evidence as ip, nicknames and guid
3-decide it to email all the server owners who want to work this togheter and start doing some real fucking cleaning.
Its not a bad idea.. lot of clans are in i hope those 2 great clans left contribuite with this.. its just for the good of comunity after all.. some good solutions to dirty problems is the best way.
Couse sometimes i see people just kalling autoshooter and cheater to persons who i really think they arent cheating and you dont know if you are making this person deceptionate about this mod and start growin his experience with other players/mods of quake 3.. i only c bad reputation in part of us e+ in other mods.
This can be more attractive for new "audience" who came searching for a nice mod and if they see some good organizationg about how to control cheats and how to controls bad gamers well they will stick to the mod

Probably the best point sofar spider, but still look at it the other way. Too much power in too little hands leads to disaster. Look at the world arround you and you will see my point.
Power corrupts. Power over life and death (and lats face it in the virtual world ban=death, unban=life) corrupts completely.

I'm not here to be told what to do or not to do, all we need is common sense and that's it, the board has it's moderatos and that's all authority this comunity needs, Curious how spider told me he would run his servers as he wanted and not change his decitions because someone else or even the whole comunity wanted and now that they have accepted their mistake about that cheater providing them servers they suddenly think it is a good idea to have this council.

anyways .. its not couse our hk experience.. its bekause a lot of flames are in forums and e+.. i dont want to be in a comunity where they like to solve problems like retards fighting each other and saying bs.. i prefer a good democratic way and decide the best for the comunity.

guys i dont wanna sound like a party pooper but this whole community thing is going out of control and it starts reminding me of a way of ruling some guy with a weird mustache (khm khm hitler khm khm) once tried to constitute. Come on guys, its a freaking video game! Why cant everyone just have fun playing the game and just leave the admining to the people who own or admin the servers! IMHO having cheaters in the community is the admins or server owners fault. Because if a cheater is found on a server then it means there wasnt an admin or serv owner there to do what he was supposed to, ban him! And why should a cheater be reported in the forums anyways? It's like someone comes in my house and steals something and first i have to write about it in the newspaper before kicking his ass. Plus i think the whole ban for ever thing is going too far because some people are abusing the respect they earned. I dont wanna point out names and i'm certainly not trying to start a flame war here but people who have more rep in here are sure that they can not be accused of almost anything so thats why they are quick to make decisions about people who are new to this community. People who do you think you are depriving someone of the right to play an online game? What if someone goes and spends a nice 30 USD to get Q3 and then because he cheats he gets banned everywhere? Then that game is useless for him as you all know the whole fun of Q3 is the online action. Try to be a bit more fair here people. Thanks and sorry if i blabbered a bit

Besides the 30 EUR that Q3 cost him, he also pays the price for cheating which is a good solid ban. This quoted point of yours could be interpreted as something like "we should forgive all cheaters that were caught because we must be fair to the man who paied 30 eur for his q3 copy" I dont see how letting cheaters back in, is us (the community) being fair...
One more thing about them cheaters. Look in any community of online gamers what are the rules and punishments for cheating. You will come across the same thing, which is also done here at E+: BAN FOREVER. No matter the game, caught cheaters are exiled and banned from the respective community. These latest mercy-for-cheaters-kinda opinions have left me speechless. Don't bring up stuff like we are all human beings, we should give second chances etc, because i find them inapropriate. Cheating is the ultimate "crime" when speaking of an online pc game, cheaters are like the murderers of real life. You don't see murderers getting second chances or mercy, so why should we do that here? They knew what they were doing and they were aware of the consequences of their actions, therefore NO EXCUSE could ever justify cheating for me.
This community has made one or two huge mistakes regarding cheaters and now all future cheaters have something to point at when asking for clemency. Very bad move e+!
Please do not be shocked by the comparison level used by me here, I just wanted to make it VERY clear why cheaters should stay the way they are...BANNED.

you are totally true warez. in that time when we had a problem with gunner and his servers we had like 50 people telling us what to do , and most of them didnt know what they were talking about....and that diluted the message.
anyway , i dont think we should argue more on this. cause everybody said here what has to be said already , and we are loosing the poll atm.seems like it is a clear NO.
