[Fixed] Use CTF spawnpoints for team games OR not
Hi,
I have thought about a cvar enabling the use of ctf spawnpoints for type based gametypes.
xp_teamedSpawns default 0
Well, it is obivious how it should work when enabled:
*Red players spawn on red base
*Blue players spawn on blue base
And in combinaision with baseq3 ents files, we have already all those maps ready for this feature.
Edit: btw, it could be possible to disable teamedSpawns even for ctf-like gametypes to have normal spawns of team gametypes behavour

I agree with Ali. Btw its wery useful thing for mappers
suxx for asymetric maps and also the spawnsystem right now is quite fine.
I voted F1 because its 1 step closer for "survival" gametype
or maybe random "cloud" bases ? meaning the teams spawns in a near area. not the same every round
would be good for asymmetric maps too.

cos sometimes..you spawn in middle of 3 skilled enemys and thats...mm how to say....unlUcky...ofc is not problem when u spawn with not skilled players but anyway is not good...mm like not fair

if it's possible it should be valid all team gametypes.
i think this is very hard to apply for all map

i think, your spawnsystem increases to camp.
i think you should make it something like this:
random spawn location but spawning with youre team everytime in a different room.
dissadvantage: it will be like a clan war vs bbs
everyone will stay put and there will be no more movement like there is now with the spawn system, ofc. there will be shitty spawns, but thats the beauty if this system, it can give you the boost you need to kill faster and not to wait untill the enemy desides to leave there "base"

Imagine the possibilities provided by this feature strategy speaking :
on freeze 5vs5, players spawn on their base together and will not spawn in front of enemy except if the enemy himself is already on their base, it's more like an Attack/defense/counterAttack gametype
on tdm, that's much better than to camp on a room waiting some1 to spawn.
with this players have a big idea where they will spawn next => on their base.
if there is a grouped camp on enemy base they must be strong clan and can't stay there long.
