Guys where is e+ honor gone?? 
Seriously, i mean we all agree this game is just INSANE and BIG FUN to all who play it!! So why should we worry about fucking cpma or whatever players who say e+ is lame?? I say it's just as lame as their shit is to us!
Imo e+ is not to have strategical sit-ins but to have some messy slaughters faster and harder than the other guys will ever have!!
And about popularity and new guys starting with e+..
Maybe they start on our servers but still many are just confused about what they see...
Imagine not that ever-quake-playing expert but a guy who's not common with that game...he will not understand what happens and leave again..IF NOT someone tell's him whats up or he finds it out himself what is rather rarely i guess.
When I came first time to + 1v1 server, forced to spec..i just thought WTF how can the guy handle that...until he told me basic things..
It's not like WOW or somethin where you pop in and start playin normally...
Anyway..
be proud on E+!

edit: maybe i forgot: Why not make e+ more popular?? Like rethorical question..i don't see any good point for not doing it than to have less guys playing.. (lol i missed to put that "less" in in first case

I think such configs as bro or plus made this mod popular anyway. I considered e+ lame when I joined few fast-rail-servers at start (single player default.cfg was the same 
). It's different game now. And it's different game than CPM. The way I see it:
slow weapons=aim => fast weapons=aim+spam, but...
map control=crafty tactics => flexible movement+all weapons+single shot frags=other skills+more real-time intelligence.
e+ is definitely not a lame mod and CPM is boring
And who cares that CPM is more popular (in media). E+ has the future (there are no similar games) and CPM is slowly replaced by new games... cause it's boring lol

what i have to say finaly here. pro players (ment with the word means with pro, not what many people think what is pro) will look for games, where they can get most attention, and earn most money. (smo heard about fat1 theses days?)
anyway, the only guy who had something meaningful to say in this "THREAD" is no one else as absti.
and imo, everyone who has not the same oppionion or at least, anyone who cant share his oppinion, is wrong here.
so, lets have fun again (i am starting to have again).
